I know I had said that I wasn't going to do a report this week, being that it's Christmas day and all. But I have one hell of a streak going, so I figured I would just go ahead and write one up anyways. Not like I've got anything better to do at 1am on Christmas morning. So, here we go.

It's Christmas, Folks!

Christmas was always one of my favourite times of year. Not just because I got shiny new toys, and socks (don't underestimate how important getting socks for Christmas is kids... you'll learn to appreciate it) but because of the wonder of the season. I've grown older now, and I tend to feel large amounts of bah humbug, but as I always do, I take a moment, after my family has gone to sleep, and sit next to the lit up Christmas tree and take a moment to be thankful. The Dark Brotherhood gets a special mention in my ruminations this season. I recently was given a medal, and while it's cool that I got it, the thing that always has meant the most to me when receiving medals in the DB is reading what my peers are writing. I'm truly thankful for all of you who took the time to add to my recommendation, and am even more thankful that I get to participate in this club.

So from me, Keirdagh "Yacko" Taldrya Cantor, otherwise known in the world as Paul... I'd like to thank you all for helping the DB be one of my favourite pass times, and I wish you all the happiest, and heartiest of holiday cheer. Merry Christmas to you all, and thank you.

Taldryan Just got a lot more... Pointed?

So yea, despite the fact that some damned fools saw fit to give me something stabby (as if I'm not dangerous enough), I want to take a moment and highlight four of our members who also received Sacramental Awards today. These four members stand up as four of Taldryan's best, and their efforts in, and out of the Crusades have been truly epic. I wish we could have given all of you even more, but from Rian and I, I'd like to especially shine the light on the four stellar recipients of their Sapphire Blades.

First Up, Kazmir Natas. Kaz has been a force in Taldryan, and is still constantly bugging me for even more work to do. You can read Kaz's full recommendation here

Next, is Jaccity Jac, of the Jacland Jacs. Jac's awesome. End of story. His recommendation can be found here

Following Jac is hard to do, but next up we have Chaos, who despite his reputation as the Lord of Fail, is just so full of win. His recommendation can be found here

And finally, we have the man who might have created Taldryan's rallying cry throughout the Crusades by accident, just because he was trying to badger people into participating. This is of course none other than good ole' Howie. His full recommendation can be found here

These four members typified the exemplary performance that at one point were commonplace in Taldryan. I am happy to say that they, along with all the others who participated and were rewarded in recent weeks, are a grand step in the direction back to our old winning ways.

Yea, the last headline was bad. This one was also bad. Oops. It's Christmas. There has been egg nog. There has also been rum in the egg nog. Wee. But basically this headline is to just give me a weak ass segue into what almost seems like a weekly bromance story with our new Herald.

As is the tradition in the DB, the Herald's Staff has gone out of their minds creating new sabers and robes and this year SA goodies to be added to the dossiers of any of us who are so inclined. This year's Herald Style Hanukkah has been host to some amazing new sets of robes, and sabers, and knickknacks.. so without further adieu, I give you links to the Hanukkah Festivities So Far!

Someone Let the Lighties into the Shadow Academy...

And they were too bloody polite to even trash the place. Seriously, I dunno whats going on with these guys. They actually put more books on the shelves. It's weird. Anyways, for any of you who are inclined, the Core Courses for the Light Jedi Orders of the Dark Brotherhood (I know, just go with it), are now (or will soon be) available for your perusal.

It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Get to Know Shad and Ben!

So, I wanted to give Taldryan a little gift of my own this Holiday Season, and I wanted to go about doing it in such a way that required me to not do a whole hell of a lot of work. So basically I made Shadow and Ben do it all. (Thanks Guys!)
