Hello Scholae Palatinae! The end of both December, and the year are upon us! It’s time for one last QUA report for 2013. I hope you’ve all been enjoying the holiday season, I know I sure have been.

Brotherhood News
Many exciting things have been put out recently, as part of the Herald Style Hanukkah, a lovely yearly tradition that Orv has decided to continue with. If you haven’t checked them out on the news page, you should, as they included new accessories for the SA Society, Robes, and Lightsabers, all of which looked absolutely amazing. Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6, and Day 7. In addition to the new available eye candy, with the Day 7 HSH goodies, Orv also included a bit of a preview for those Crusade Ribbons that I kept bringing up throughout the crusade. You can see what the Nfolgai, Rhelg, Krayiss II, and Khar Delba ribbons are going to be looking like. You may note a few of those were even planets we participated on here in HSP. They look super awesome.

Also related to Heraldy goodness, if you have created or commissioned a custom avatar/image of your DJB Character, they are allowing members of at least the rank of Guardian to upload your image for approval as an avatar on your dossier (and if you have fancy news page access there too). So if you got something squared away for an image, go a head and send it in for approval. You can read the full specifics of the announcement here.

With the soon to be reopening of the ACC, several bits of news have come from that area of the club. First is a new ACC Guide something that both new and old members should take a look at. Along with that comes a new ACC Fundamentals Course, written up by Wally who did an amazing job with the course.

Other course news is the newly opened Light-Side Order CORE Exams. Consular Core, Guardian Core, and Sentinel Core are all up and available for you interested in seeing what foolish, er, different ideals the light side orders of our club have.

House News
Here in the house things have been pretty quiet, with a handful of easy competitions going on for those of you looking at some simple distractions during this holiday packed time of the year. The return of the ever classic Winterbells competition for example, will be running through the end of the year, so there is still plenty of time to get those high scores in.

Looking forward to next year, we are still very much planning on continuing the Looking Home Campaign, along with a handful of other special events leading up to and following the Great Jedi War in the summer.

Now to quickly jump on Xantros’ recruitment bandwagon, I do want to bring up how you all, the lifeblood of Scholae Palatinae hold in your hands a great power to get new members here. You’ve all got friends, here in the club, in real life, maybe on other communities online. See if there are people interested in joining! Having a connection to someone they know in the club goes to great lengths in getting them actually motivated to participate. You all stick around for your own reasons, why not see if you can bring in one or two noobs and show them the ropes (not to mention you can get some of those illusive scrolls for getting people to join up and get through a handful of ranks). Just something you all should keep in mind.
