Greetings, Qel-Dromans! Welcome to yet another report from your friendly, neighborhood Quaestor of Qel-Droma. I want to open in saying Happy New Year to us all, here's hoping 2014 is even better for Arcona and Qel-Droma than 2013 was. We had 26 knights, came second in a year long event, and saw dozens of improvements within the Brotherhood all around.

Quaestor’s Word

I recently was on a vacation visiting family. I returned home to finish my vacation quietly with just my wife and I and ended up catching bronchitis and having to extend my time away from work by 2 days. I’m mostly through with this and am happy to be back. I want to thank our Aedile Valtiere for stepping up in my absence and running the House. Instead of writing his section of the report we flipped roles this time and I only edited it with Markdown and a few slight changes. If you see him feel free to thank him as well! If you have any ideas for competitions for the future feel free to submit them in the following link.

There’s honestly so much of this lately and it’s amazing. Go check out all the news, but here’s a highlight of a few:

The ACC Beta is now live! Yes, the arena for characters to duke it out has finally returned, all shiny and new on the staging site. Make sure you qualify, all the information can be found here . Once you've qualified, you're good to begin asking onlookers if they are not entertained. Or just fighting, if you want a bit less flash.
Aabsdu was appointed new Left Hand of Justice

House News

Shadow Gate , Shadow Phyle ], And Arete have all released their Battle Team reports for your perusal, make sure to keep an eye on them to know what's going on in our Battle Teams (Even if Arete is independent of Qel-Droma). We also have something we've all been waiting for since the end of the Dark Crusade. A chance to flex our creative muscles and work on developing relationships within our own Clan. How, I hear you cry? Why, through a Clan Event ! There'll be a whole host of events to take part in throughout the 3 weeks. And, if you're not in a battleteam, don't worry, that simply means you'll be in a run on with your Quaestor and Aedile, strengthening the defences of the Dajorra system while Shadow Phyle root out any internal threats. There's something for everyone, and I'm sure the rewards will be bountiful, so I heartily recommend you sign on up! Be sure to review Mark’s Rollmaster Report too.

Operation: Sojourn

A HUGE thanks to Wally for creating this stunning competition for the entire clan. There is going to be 3 weeks of events with a run-on lasting during the entire event. This is going to be a great way to show participation, reach promotion guidelines, practice for the upcoming Great Jedi War, and most importantly, have fun! Anything Else?

Each one of you have received an e-mail from me personally. I asked questions to get to know each of you and figure out where you want to go and how I can help you get there. While out of the usual, I'll be doing this every month. There are also a few other e-mails out there that are important for some Arcona and HQD projects. You can talk to me any time you like, but I feel this encourages strong communication between us and let's us get to know each other.

Closing

Well, it has been a bumper year for us in Qel-Droma, and for all of Arcona. Let's hope that 2014 is even better. We have a Great Jedi War coming up at some point, the ACC is in open beta, and we have a big clan competition, plenty of chance to prove yourselves as loyal members of Qel-Droma and Arcona.

One final thing, I want to give an award to two members who have proven themselves during 2013. A late reward, but as I always say, I'm only human. So, Kanis Da'uul and Deimos D'tana, a belated congratulations, and welcome, to the Nexum.
