Well hello, Good-Looking. Welcome to another Tarentum Aedile Report,

Damn! Almost had a weekly report by...4 days :/ I blame TOR. And Real life. And Bloodfyre. Yeah, actually its all Beef's fault! I blame that man's sexiness and how distracting it is. Who wouldn't want some Beef.... o_0

Anyways, lots of news, great activity, some hints to the upcoming storyline, and more displays of Raiju's insanity. Only on this week's Tarentum Aedile Report!

New Military Policy: If you saw Scion's email or news post you are already aware of a new policy for the House's military assets. Good on ya! If not, cliffnotes (is that still a thing with the internet?) version is that no longer will Tarenti have ranks or commissions in the military (save for Oberst as Marshal of the forces and Sith King's/Prince's representative). Instead, the command structure will be made entirely of NPCs. However, Tarenti can requisition units or ships based on their mission so long as someone else isn't using it (or it fits the mission specs).

What this allows is for anyone to use the units and ships, rather than inactive members holding onto highly regarded positions. Furthermore, when the Tarenti leave the unit or ship they aren't hampering the command structure as there will be a NPC permanently assigned.

However, we need to update the wiki and create some NPCs. So if you want to get a special character involved in the military, reassign a current NPC you use, or help create new NPCs then please contact Scion, Oberst and myself to get involved.

[Discussion Piece]Military Purchases: Along with the new military policy, we soon(ish) will have our turn to purchase new units or ships based on the fleet points we earned during the Dark Crusade. At this point I think we are over a grand (I think somewhere around 1200 but not sure - Raken will be sending Scion an up-to-date purchase sheet with our points on it). But we want to know what you guys wanna do with these points. So, this week's discussion piece will be the fleet purchases

Last week(ish), the discussion piece was whether it was worth having Equites paired up with Elders in regards to promotions. While I can see both sides, I still am interested in what your thoughts are so make sure to check out that topic as well!

AWOL Check: I spoke to Kalen this morning and there was a bit of a delay on the AWOL Check, though it should begin shortly. Just a reminder that you can avoid the grief if you just make sure to log in when checking the site. Most of you have been fairly good. Looks like 3 Equites and 4 journeymen are at risk right now but with me emailing and the AWOL Check emails when they come; hopefully we won't lose anyone.

However, the point I want to make is you guys have been doing very well lately. Elders are active and helping coach Scion and I with Tarentum lore and assets. Equites are starting to offer help for projects and are maintaining activity in gaming. And we have a couple amazing journeymen working away at their promotions. (In fact, check out Garloaf's wiki and help him with some feedback). Great work guys. Scion and I are proud

Antei Combat Centre in Beta: Woohoo! The ACC is back, sorta. Help out Mav and friends with the ACC's development. Get your CS updated, do the two ACC courses (they are useful!) and then get some battling done. However, don't forget to submit to the feedback form Mav posted in this announcement

This Club just got more social: If you have been following the news page, you would've seen that you can list both your twitter account and gaming contacts like TOR for example right on your dossier. Great thing is, you can search your unit (like Tarentum's for example) and click the Contact Methods tab and then see the various methods to connect with your fellow Tarenti. Love it!

No fiction snippet, No official fiction to be released at this moment. However, some hints/information/and background

The upcoming storyline is set to be released next week. It will start with the first of a two part Prologue. This will be used to introduce a four Act series that promises to unleash a different kind of Tarentum

Defeated/Disappointed/Disgusted by the the Dark Crusades, most of Tarentum's forces return home with little to show from the year long campaign. A few are left to tend to Iron Thrones commitments on the Brotherhood's new worlds. Yet, the Elders and Equite have found little merit from the affair, and many are looking at the Iron Throne as a leash we should break. The journeymen of our House were our largest causalities; few returning when dozens departed with us. Those that returned have been celebrated as heroes, harden through war into our image; though from sharing close quarters with the Equites and Elders on the warfront - they too aren't strong on the Iron Throne right now.

To add insult to injury, despite our efforts, Tarentum receives the last round of picks for Crusade treasures. Crumbs, really. We aren't impressed.

Yet, solace may still be found in rumors from the former front lines
