The ACC Beta Test is Live

Hey, are you tired of hearing about the ACC yet? I hope not, cause it's not going away. Our Combat Master Mavid Bowie recently released a statement opening the DB Wide Beta Test on the Staging site. What does this mean? It means that you've completed ACC Fundamentals and the ACC Qualification Exam in the Shadow Academy, you can go over to the staging site and start fighting in the ACC to help test the new system.

Our Coders, Voice, and Combat Master (and staffs) have been working their asses off to get the ACC up and running for us. Recently the Voice announced that more Hand to Hand Combat Fighting Styles and Races have been made available to help customize your Character Sheet.

For those veterans of the ACC that we have in Taldryan, I just want to make sure you're aware: no previous qualifications matter. You have to start over. So if you're interested in getting into the ACC Beta test, you'd best start getting your quals under your belts.

Three Worthy Promotions for Unit Leaders

This past week we received news from our Grand Master outlining three outstanding members of the Dark Brotherhood. Members of Taldryan know that Rian was one of the Three Unit Leaders who were honoured with a promotion to Equite 3. Standing alongside him though are the men who lead Plagueis and Tarentum. So I offer not only my congratulations to our own leader, but also to Montresor of Plagueis, and Firebird of Tarentum.

Well done gentlemen, very well done indeed.

The Herald is Dead, Long Live the Herald

So, apparently there were just one too many Orvgasms, and it drove the man to reckless insanity. Now he's dead.

Actually no, not really, but kinda. Essentially the Voice has posted an update to the continuing storyline of the Dark Crusades. "Wait Yacks, the Crusades are Over!"... well, no, they're actually not. What I had assumed (and erroneously reported) was that the upcoming events were a continuation of the story, but under a new name. Nope! Anyways, the Crusades will continue on later sometime this year in the form of a few competitions, and culminating in a Great Jedi War. We're not done with them yet folks.

Onto the recent update though, Orv Dessex the character was killed by person, or persons unknown in a mission to the Smuggler's Moon of Nar Shaddaa. The Voice is also running a competition to track down his killer.

Thankfully though, I knew the code to Orv's Safe, and he had one last gift for the Brotherhood tucked away in there.

AWOL Check: Coming Soon™?

Well, this is a report for the ages... not only do I admit I was wrong once, I admit I was wrong twice. I've been banging the drum for a little while now about an impending AWOL check, trying to make sure everyone's up to date on their logging in duties... and apparently it never happened. I'm not sure what happened here, but according to Raiju's Report the AWOL check is still planned, just a week after I'd been told it was going to happen.

Anyways, login to the site. Do the things, and it'll all be fine.
