This week in Clan Naga Sadow: recognition. This is a week in which we celebrate a lot of people for their contribution, most of which are very long overdue and equally well deserved. People from both Houses are being recognised and it's great to see people finally being given what's owed to them - check out the front page to see some of the promotions and awards that have already been given out. More are coming. Many of them needed to be done a long time ago.
This week's new member: Dyrra Skye has made a return from Rogues and has already started to get involved with projects. Welcome back Dyrra, it's wonderful to have you (back) on board!
Actually, come to think of it, there's a goal: I want to be able to write about a new member every week. You guys will need to help me: find a person, recruit them, whatever you can do. Every single member we get helps us in the long run. Want to see your name in lights too? and help the House out? Do some recruiting. Trust me, it'll be cool.
Sith Lord trivia results: Locke in first, Malik in second. Congrats, guys! Legions of the Scholar are now headed your way.
A bit of a quiet week, but not everything has gone through just yet. At least I'll have something to talk about next week, right? I'd like to see some more people get on this list. We've got some really easy gaming comps running (everyone can play pazaak, guys) and I'd love to see this list grow beyond the same handful of people. Get on it, House!
Rhiann Baenre: Promotion to Guardian, 26x Cluster of Fire, GMRG Rank III
Vaar Mai: Grand Cross of the Dark Side, Pendant of Blood, Scroll of Indoctrination, 48x Cluster of Fire
Yuriko Mortehana: 13x Cluster of Fire
First off, congratulations to Jeric Cyrin, our new Battleteam leader! He's a wonderful addition to our Summit and should do a hell of a job. The flipside to this is that we've cleared out the membership lists of both Battleteams. If you are in House Marka Ragnos, you will have the choice between Maelous' team (the old Scepter of Ragnos team) or Jeric's new team. Please email myself and Teu ([Log in to view e-mail addresses] and [Log in to view e-mail addresses]) with your choice in team.
Ask the Aedile was fun. Let's do it again!
Malik asks: What's it like living in the future?
Currently cold and wet. Also slightly miserable. This is far too British for my tastes, methinks.
Wally asks: What does the scouter say, Vaar?
Beep beep beep beep beep beep-beep beep-beep.
Wally also asks: What are you doing to get CNS involved with the recently opened ACC Beta? Also, Dur, why should I bother wit da ACC?
Talking about it in this report right here is what I'm doing. As for why? Not only is it a great competition medium for the Brotherhood, the ACC is a great way to actually push your writing skills to their absolute limit and learn a thing or two with some constructive feedback. It's an integral part of the Brotherhood and it's also extremely fun. Some of my most fond early memories here were made through the ACC. Definitely go check it out and compete. Also double CIs helps too.
Kairus asks: Where do dark jedi babies come from?
Dark Jedi babies come from the Sith Stork. This is a regular stork with black tattoos. None know where these tattoos come from, only that there was alcohol, a black sharpie and a shrubbery involved.
As I mentioned before, the battleteam opening is a huge thing for us. Our goal with the two teams is to get everyone involved at some level and increase the 'support network' people have - people to compete and work together with, in equal measure, in order to promote some activity in the House. That's what we want. Activity is a huge thing for us and we need to get the ball rolling somehow.
Starting this week, if you guys want to get involved with either trivia topics or Ask the Aedile, you are now free to email them directly to me at [Log in to view e-mail addresses] and tag it either [Trivia] and add your suggestion, or [Ask the Aedile] and I will feature it in my next report.
The new part of Clan Artisans is running, so make sure you get involved with that. This is your chance to help us work out how the Clan is going to look in the future.
Stay classy, Marka Ragnos.
