In case some of you weren't aware, the GMRG is the unit of the DB that focuses upon external competition for the DB. Throughout its history, the Guard has had some ups and downs, but the current CoG, Demosthenes, is actively working to bring multi-player gaming outside of the DB back with force.

In an effort to solidify things, and help provide reason and structure within the Guard, anyone who will/would like to play in TWLs, and other organized MP events will be conscripted into the Guard. It doesn't mean any major changes to yourself, just that you will be on a roster that says you're part of the DB's official, external MP teams.

Demos will be coordinating practice nights, as well as game times with the other organizations, and will be keeping in contact with you as to when you will want to be on IRC, if possible, and what role you can play in the DB's efforts. I imagine he'll be emailing you later on tonight with more details, as well as smoothing over any issues, or removing people who may not be interested in such an endeavor.
