Hey all,
Due to some problems with saving the game within the JA mission, I have decided to give a 14-hour solution to those members that can't complete the mission:
If you can't complete the mission, submit a screenshot of the way your character looks after a save and you'll get 3/4 of the participation points available.
These are still due at 11:59 PM EST tonight.

I sure hope you mean a solution in the 14th hour rather then a 14 hour solution. I mean I like JA as much as the next guy, but 14 hours of JAing a solution now thats something.
hehe... my problem wasn't so much being able to save as it was trying to fight without seeing my sabre blade... :)
It's an odd bug. ou saber blade disappears, but you can still deflect laser bolts. But you can't slice anything or anyone with it. And i couldn't use force lightning on the enemy. It's a real sucky bug too, coz i have to save otherwise i keep dieing :P. It's a good thing that we'll still get points, thanks to the bug.
Early last week, I had a rather long discussion with Dagger on this level. It is not a bug, guys. It's just another quirk Dagger added to make the level even more difficult. And damn, did he do a good job at making it hard. :P
At least I got better at JA single player as a result. hehe
Personally I think that if your character is screwy after saving that you should take into account how far into the level they actually got when it's graded.
If it wasn't a bug, and somethig done on purpose (without mentioning it) then it kinda sucks... especially for those of us who bought it just because of the event (I might be the only one on that). Its good that people who knew of the addition will have the advantage at it and not be like me and think it was their game that was f*ked up (the first and only thing I ever saw on JA was the GJW comp before I returned it to the store). Nevertheless, if I had known about it like most prolly did - it would have been cool... I just missed the memo :) Its just a bit odd that folks were experienceing different occurences - or it could be that we were just noticing different things *shrugs - uber kudos anyway for the creation of it... its kewl to see folks give of their time like that.
It took me awhile, but I beat the mission. It was hard, but Speed and Mind trick came in quite handy. Heal, too, but not really until the end (after playing doezns of times over). I've got some great screenshots of me floating in the lava.
My only complaint is that I'm not the biggest fan of the staff saber, instead preferring the two single lightsabers, but, by the end of the game, I'd gotten use to the staff as well.
Cool. I'd actually be really interested in seeing people's various strange screenshots. While the level was a total pain the ass, and I practically threw my computer out the window a few times, or just swore after i got so far then died because of something stupid, looking back i gotta say i enjoyed Dagger's handywork.
