For the past year and some change, I've led Tarentum as Proconsul, then as Consul. I've spent almost a year in the position of Consul itself, and have enjoyed it immensely. When Jac told me I had been accepted for the position of SHW, I asked that I be allowed to remain as Consul of the Clan through the end of the Great Jedi War. I had a committment to Tarentum first, and foremost, and Jac agreed.
The War is now over, and it has become necessary for me to vacate the position. But Tarentum cannot be without leadership. And it is my pleasure to announce today, that with Jac's blessings, Rekio Corsair, formerly the Proconsul I served with, has risen to the position of Consul. I have absolute faith in him, as I know Tarentum does, as well.
Rekio, it's been an honor to serve with you, and I know Tarentum can only go farther up with you serving her in this capacity.
Tarentum. you have an excellent leader, who will make sure to give you every opportunity you deserve. Follow him, and give him the dedication you gave unto me, and I'm sure he will not disappoint you. My best wishes go with you, and I know you'll achieve greatness.

Congratulations Rekio, but also I want to take this opportunity to honor BF a bit. I have been Consul of Taldryan for almost a year and a half, and BF was always a great competitor and comrade at the same time. So I'm sorry to see BF heading off to the DC where I will be forced to mock him :P

Though I may not have had the benefit of ever being in Tarentum, nor the 'zeal' that Frosty exhibits, I too would like to offer my congratulations to Rekio. Watching from afar, I always kept an eye on Tridens, and Tarentum with it, and was always impressed with the progress they'd been slowly building over the last few years. Now, looking at this Great Jedi War and the results that keep getting released, I think more and more people will start to take you seriously. So good luck Rekio, you just got promoted to the Consul of a very dangerous Clan... just try not to make me hurt you ;)
