Greetings everyone,

For the past month or so, Kaiann and I have been working on an update to the race policy for the DB. What we found with the original policy that (1) our policy was unclear, (2) the requirements were not firm, (3) and the process was not detailed. We found some middle ground on what I want and what Kai thinks is really needed for the races, and came up with a new thing.

Please note that we have some provisions in here about the timeframe that the CRAPS process was started. Mainly, if you have already begun the process, we will still use the old standards.

The key here is that we are going to strongly stress that people try to choose from the list of hundreds of canon races before they make a new one. In that, we are also asking for more details on the new races. I don’t want every person in the DB having a custom race. That’s just dumb. Kaiann is going to recommend races that will fit your needs when there is one.
