Just got some good news about one of my little thingy's...
I was originally going to create a handicap hall for those Jedi who are bored with being too powerful and desire a different type of match :P After thinking about it, I'm not going to go with a Hall. Instead, a handicap match can be fought in any hall as it will be part of the challenge request.
This is how it works:
First, challenges work exactly the same, nothing has changed about that. However, if a handicap match is desired, there will be a text box on the challenge form specifically for that purpose (i.e. don't use it if it's not a Handicap Challenge). The text box is hidden from both combatants when the challenge is submitted, basically making it a 'blind' handicap match, and only seen by the Operators when the battle hits the queue.
For instance:
A DJK may want to fight a DJM, knowing he/she would normally get squashed, so the DJK requests a Handicap Match. He/she places the challenge, with a handicap for the DJM, and submits it. The DJM gets the challenge in their e-mail, logs in to accept/decline, sees that there is a handicap for them, but cant read what it is.
The DJM accepts and either, gives their opponent a handicap or lets the DJK fight straight/unhindered. The other option is for the DJM to decline, but that would be lame :P The DJK gets the notification, which doesn't list either of their handicaps in text - which isn't really necessary since he/she made the challenge and may be expecting a handicap anyway.
It isn't until the Operator starts their battle (to which they have both accepted and can't quit now :P) that the DJM reads in the intro that his/her force powers are the equivalent of an APP and the DJK realizes that he/she is blind.
*ranks used as an example, handicap matches can be made by members of any rank.
For this to be fun, there still has to be a couple of rules:
1) Handicaps will not consist of missing appendages or any part of the opponent's body.
2) Choosing to ignore the handicap, or reverse its effects (notwithstanding Force powers that may increase a decreased STR handicap, for example) will/may result in a disqualification.
3) You cannot handicap yourself. If you are an ACO and a DJK wishes to make your handicap increased Force power, that's fine (not really a handicap, though... or is it :P) but you can't do it to yourself.
4) ACC staff that admin the battle will determine the Handicap's viability - if it's too obscene, the battle may be declined.
5) With the exception of the above limitations, no one is 'above' a handicap. If an APP challenges the GM and chooses that the GM's handicap is not being able to call the Force, ever... well, tough noogies :)
Hope this adds a little fun for you folks who've gotten bored with the same ol' stuff.
Also, the CS's have been adjusted to support weapon 'types'.
For example: "Quarterstaff" has been adjusted to read "Quarterstaff/Pole Weapons" to cover pikes and such.

If the explaination is a bit too sporatic for ya... just go try and challenge someone, you'll get it then :)
Thanks to DA James for getting it done and Lenz for helping him test it!
... you have more than one little thingy? ;o)
Stow it!
No discussions about the 'angry inch'!!!! :)
Haha Lannie asked first!
Guess we need to read up on Stennes biology :)
