The sign-ups to the ladder are closed and I am sorting through the participants...
Since I am still dealing with the 'admin' of getting this thing going (i.e. sorting, intro's etc.) you can mail me [[Log in to view e-mail addresses]] and request participation until Saturday morning (remember to include your PIN and ID Line).
That 'generosity' (:P) is primarily for those who might have been LoA and didn't get a chance to sign up, had computer problems that forbid them from logging on or any of those other things that we usually can't control.
Other than that, we should see this thing kick off next week and, more importantly, on time :)

Will only the first 32 actually take part in this ladder with the rest of the people who signed up being guaranteed a place in the next ladder, as you said on the MB, or has that changed as there's been so many signups?
Hmm... that makes me think of a question I've had. Is the order going to be entirely at random or in order of sign-up? Eg, will Signup #1 play Signup #2, Signup #3 play Signup #4 or will it be shuffled around? I've been unsure about that as I've had different people say different things about how its been in the past and how the ACC database is configured to assign matches to ladders.
It caught my concern in respect of the possibility of people engineering who they'd play first by not signing up until immediately after overhearing somebody they knew was a weak opponent had signed up or something. Likewise it'd have been a reason for people not to sign up immediately after overhearing that Trev had signed up and so on.
Actually Lenzar, you picked 32... I used 18/16 as my example, i.e. it was an example. If, by the time I'm ready, I have enough to make it one of the magic numbers (at whatever number) without NPC's - which is a LAST resort - then I will. If not, then I have been getting ready to push the 'overflow' to the next ladder, as I said might/would happen.
Which brings me to answering the next question... For my purposes, I am keeping the list in order of signup in case I have to shift some to the next ladder. After which, before the ladder starts, it will be randomized - so, no, #1 may not be fighting #2 unless it just ends up that way.
