Anshar and Vail promoted!

Greetings!

This is the part of the job that I like. Getting to award members for their contributions to the club is a joy to me. I only hope that everyon can recognize the achievements of those we recognize today. These two members are of the best the DB has ever known.

There aren't many people that are below the position of Consul that are ever even considered for the Rank of Dark Adept. It is a rank that is reserved for the best members, the most dedicated and innovative members, and to the members that have contributed time and time again to the well-being of the Brotherhood. Anshar and I have not wroked together for a very long time, but in the period that he has been serving as KCB and Proconsul, I have seen nothing but greatness. I love that he understands the importance of his job. Combined with Spears, Anshar has the biggest say over the success of the Brotherhood through the retention of members. He has done his job with extrodinary professionalism, consistency and drive. I always look forward to his reports because they keep showing me one thing: the system that Anshar is running is working. His work with the Envoys is keeping members coming, getting them involved and keeping them involved. Anshar should be commended and thanked for his service.

Spears came to me some time ago asking to promote Anshar. Given the importance of DA, I asked to wait a couple months so I could work with him. Anshar has more thatn proved that he is worthy to join the ranks of the Elders. Spears was right: this member deserves this rank. Therefore, it is my pleasure today to elevate Anshar to the rank of Dark Adept.

That is not all, however. Today we also recognize Vail for his contributions to the club.

I have known Vail for a long time. He and I have worked together on a great deal of competitions and projects over the years, and I have always admired the work ethic he has: consistent and dedicated. For the longest time, Vail struggled to obtain a high position within. Nevertheless, I was estatic when the opportunity came for him to become Consul of Scholae Palatinae. It was a chance for him to show what he was capable of, and show it, he did. CSP has been a consistent asset to the Brotherhood. It dominates in many activities such as the Independance Games. Vail has had a large part in that success as the Clan's leader. He should be commended for everything he did.

Vail served as Consul for a few days over a year. That is a very long time to give to a position. Vail was dedicated to the clan and always worked to make it better. He was a great Consul who was loved by his members. I appreciate all that he has done over the years, especially this past year, and look forward to what he will contribute in the future.

It is my pleasure today to elevate Vail, as a gift from the members of CSP, to the rank of Dark Adept.

Both members have received numerous reccomendations from their clanmates and friends. I suggest that you visit their dossiers to see what was said about each of them.

Anshar, Vail...Congratulations, and thanks.

For Vail, I've ordered the Excidium to retrieve the "clothing removal specialists" from Cooch's quarters for the party... ;)

How do you promote a Vail? All it does is drop in front of the bride's face.. :\

Congrats to the both of you!!!!

Congratulations Anshar! I couldn't agree more, and I commend you on this achievement. Your efforts are always appreciated, and from having worked with you myself, I can honestly say, you are more than prepared, and more than appropriate to enter the ranks of the Adepts.

And congratulations Vail! We may not always see eye-to-eye on things, but that could be because I'm so much cooler than you. Heh. Just kidding. This is an excellent accomplishment, and I know CSP has been truly proud of your tenure as Consul, they appreciate your work, and were sad to see you depart that office.

Congratulations again to you both. Well done.
