There are only a few people in the history of this club that have had such and impact as GM Chi-Long. Most notable was his service as Grand Master, but I would tend to presume that his real impact has been felt after the split. Since then, the contributions of this member have been felt by all; I am remiss for not having recognized him significantly earlier.
In his most recent endeavor, Chi-Long stepped up to be Consul of one of the clans. This was very significant in many ways. Chi did not have anything to gain from taking the position; he had already obtained the highest rank. He did not want the position as a springboard; he didn't desire returning to the DC. Chi took the position because he cared about the DB and wanted to see it succeed. He knew what needed to be done within the clans to make them great, and he wanted to step in to take a hurting clan and turn it completely around.
Since he has taken over as Consul, we have seen amazing things from Chi. He has assembled one of the finest groups of leaders that the Brotherhood has to offer. He has created a structure within his clan that is conducive to member retention and training. He has had solid communication in all respects. Truly, Chi-Long has been an astounding Consul.
With the merger of Clan Satal Keto and Clan Exar Kun, Chi has been able to motivate and encourage a whole new group of members. Verily, the clan is now in first place within the Independence Games - that is a true testament to his leadership and that of his subordinates.
Chi-Long has lead by example, lead with conviction, and hasn't taken the normal crap that a lot of us take. That has lead to Clan Plagueis becoming a dominant force within the Brotherhood. That has lead to the DB being more active and stable.
We all owe Chi-Long our thanks. This Emerald Dagger is the least I can do to show my appreciation.

How could they be first in the IGs when no results are out? Forget submission counts, with gaming events and some people submitting one by one for each caption and other stuff seperately, it means little more than a means of encouragement and motivation.
CSP is still first if you count events done :o)

Congrats Chi. This is well-deserved recognition for your efforts in Exar Kun and now Plagueis. Your seasoned guidance will no doubt continue to secure Plagueis as a rising star within the Brotherhood. A star that may one day begin to outshine the rest... Quick, go stab someone! :P
Sorry -- winning to me, at this point, is most submissions. By my count yesterday, CP has 2 more submissions than CSP. 3 more as of just a moment ago.
Maybe I counted wrong. Either way, it doesn't matter one bit. Chi would get a ED if they came in second too.

Forget the IGs anyways. Fae is the sexiest ex-GM alive. Yes, even sexier than Jac, because today is "Fae gets an ED day." So that makes him... wow. I want him to have my love children. Have my babies, Fae. HAVE THEM!! NOW!
Congratulations Chi Long, a worthy award for all the hard work and effort that you've contributed to what was Exar Kun and Clan Plagueis. I think we have a lot to look forward to in the future. Well done.

Wow. There is not much more that I can say about Chi that hasn't been said by people that can say it better than I can. All I can say though, is that serving under Chi for the past six months has been a blessing. Of course, I have no frame of reference, having not ever NOT served under the sexiest ex-GM alive. However, he steadfast leadership skills and no nonsense attitude have led us to where we are today. It will truly be a shame when I rise up and destroy him. :)
Congratulations Chi... now don't let it get to your head! We have A LOT more left to do! The dream of Clan Plagueis is not yet complete - but it aint too far away either ;o)
Truly, it has been a blessing to serve under you as Proconsul - thank you for the experience and sorry about the 'over' active-ness from my office... lol they should give you a DS just for putting up with me 24 hours a day! :op
