Greetings all... having just had a particularly nasty virus on my computer (it's all gone now, touch wood!), I thought it was time to take a moment to remind you all to be careful! There are some nasty things out there!

First and foremost, make sure you have a reliable virus scanner and that it's kept up to date. If you're using Outlook or Outlook Express, make sure you go to the Windows update site regularly and patch your programs with the latest funky gizmos!

And of course, use your common sense. Don't open any attachment without asking a few simple questions:

1: Do I know who this is from?

2: Was I expecting an attachment/is it normal for this person to be sending me an attachment?

3: What's the file EXTENSION?

We're in an organisation where we send and receive many attachments on a daily basis. Please be careful, be aware, and be responsible.
