Greetings.

For those of you who haven't yet seen, Jac has announced several major rewards and promotions. If you read Jac's words, you will find detail, and meaning. You will see what makes these people important, and what makes these people vital to the Brotherhood in their own way. However, Jac does not always say everything, nor does he allow everyone a chance to always put forth their own words (Jac is a meaniehead, and thus, I didn't get a chance to write any recommends). ;) So now, you will see everything Jac didn't say, and some of the things I would like to point out about these people.

Mav is, without a doubt, the biggest sissy in the DB, but I can say that because he's one of my closest friends, and I love him to death. He is emotion, he is concern, and he is like a bottled smile. If the DB had a mother, Mav would be it. And no, that doesn't mean Mav is a girl, it means he is like the caretaker of the DB, trying to nurture it, and allow it to grow. If you don't know Mav, meet him. If you don't like Mav, well.. not everyone likes their parents, but it doesn't mean he's not trying to make this place better for you, too. And that's what makes Mav great, is that he is trying to be as unconditional in caring for members as possible.

Pyralis is driven, intelligent, and has mad skills when it comes to doing work. Sometimes Pyralis and I get along easily, other times we do not. That's never changed the fact that he and I are friends. He is capable as a thinker, as a planner, and strives for perfection. He gets depressed, and sometimes rants and raves like a pissed off woman when things go wrong, but it's because he cares, and he wants the absolute best. He sees quality and class in others, and can appreciate everyone, even if he doesn't particularly like them. If you don't know Pyralis, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but if you enjoy the Brotherhood, you know of things he has helped create, and enhance.

Telona is, without a doubt, possibly the biggest "worrier" besides Mav that I know. And what I mean is, she worries herself with the welfare, and well-being of everyone. Many is the times I have gone to her for a friend, for advice, and she has given of herself to make sure that I am well, that I am happy, and feeling fulfilled in things that I do. She doesn't get the title of "Mother of the DB" simply because I like to joke with Mav, and calling him a sissy amuses me (if anyone calls Mav a sissy besides me, I'm shooting you). And if you don't know Telona's concern for people, wait until she lets me have it for calling Mav a sissy. ;) You'll understand what I mean then.

I don't have much to say about Korras; if you don't understand why, it's because you don't see behind the scenes, or you don't get on IRC enough. I don't have much to say about Korras, because his actions speak for themselves. I emailed Jac and Mav the other day, wanting to discuss Korras getting promoted for all of his hard work, and dedication. I sent Jac a recommend for Korras (which he didn't include, the meanie), that expressed my thoughts fully about him. You've done a great job, Korras, and I expect that it will continue, because I know you'll never let up.

Cyris is freaking nuts with artwork. My god, if you haven't seen his new robes, you need to. Some people have nagged about our robes for years, which honestly, they shouldn't nag about. The robes we had before were done by Fae (Chi Long), and he did a great job on them then, when it was what the Brotherhood needed, and wanted. They didn't suck at all, but it was time for a change. The robes Cyris is making are very, very cool, and will make many people very happy, I think. In addition to that, he's also done a lot of other junk like medals, and manages to try and be cool on IRC once in a while. Cyris isn't as cool as I am, but he's a good guy. Heh.

Kaiann is someone I can honestly say I do not agree with very often. Kaian and I generally don't get along, but that's because we are both very independent, strong-willed, and motivated. I think Jac has said it several times -- Kaiann is motivated. Even if you don't agree with his ideas and visions, you have to appreciate his motivation, and willingness to go above and beyond for the Brotherhood. His dedication to the RPG is commendable. There's a lot of discussion he and I, as well as he and others, have had regarding the RPG. Despite not always agreeing, and having full support for every aspect of it, he continues to press on with it, and uses all feedback to try and make it the best possible for the Brotherhood.

Spears. You know, I think the best thing I could ever do for Spears is tap a keg in his honor. Not only does Spears have the title of best barbeque chef of the DB, he also has the sexiest legs in the DB, too (he's not afraid to tell you this; ask him). I haven't yet verified the legs thing, buut I trust him enough to take his word for it. Spears has the best sense of humor, topped only by his dedication to make the Shadow Academy awesome, and something that is actually useful to new members, and something that also helps older members, alike. He gets pissed off when things go sloppy, and slow, and has increased the efficiency of the current SA like nuts. I mean honestly, if increasing the Shadow Academy could be nuts, he'd have squirrels mobbing his ass. And his staff, too.

Kaine is a good guy, and I like him a lot. Before I got a chance to get to know Kaine, I can remember thinking (like a lot of people) how maybe it was time for a new Herald, and maybe it was time to get Kaine to retire. Kaine, if anyone told you that junk, I'm glad you didn't listen. Kaine does have a desire to do his best, to enjoy the Brotherhood, and make it an awesome Club to be in. He actively remind the DC and Summits when we're all being stupid with emails, and makes sure when we know when his mail has committed suicide because of this. And if you don't understand me, sometimes too much discussion has a harmful effect on things, detracting from progress, and bogging people down in bickering. Kaine knows this, and reminds us all sometimes that we're talking too much, and doing not much. He has experience, and creative ideas, and he even has a cool IRC quit signature that looks like a rose. It may not be the most manly thing, like a naked woman, or a phat motorcycle, but it's creative, and artistic, and representative of what Kaine is. No, he's not soft and flowery, he's creative and artistic.

Some of you may have laughed at the things I've said; I hope everyone did, because as much as I tried to wrap it up in humor, I wanted to show my support for these people, and what they do. The Brotherhood is about fun, and entertainment, and friendship; sometimes we all get wrapped up in things, and forget that. Yes, this place is about enjoying ourselves. If we can't make fun of each other, who can we make fun of? If we can't make fun of ourselves, we need to learn to do that first (except for Yacks, everyone can make fun of him the next time you see him try to be cool by kicking me from #db, the putz). :P

Anyways, congratulations to everyone. And, if I missed your name, and Jac gave you something... well, it's late (or early, though I say late because I haven't gone to bed) and so I either forgot, or you just suck anyways. Heh.
