EDIT: To clarify, this doesn't in any way replace the normal Thursday training night... it just gives people the opportunity to earn ECFs during it. I apologize for any confusion.
Every Thursday, starting this Thursday, I will be hosting a GMRG Grand Melee event. Regular CFs will be awarded as usual; in fact, everything will function identically to a normal training night, except for several important distinctions:
1) Anyone who defeats a Guardsmen in any multiplayer gaming platform (including ACC and ACC Live) will receive an Elite Cluster of Fire in addition to any normal CFs. This pertains to both Guard vs. Guard and Non-Guard vs Guard matches.
NOTE: There will be an enforced limit of 1 elite CF per opponent. So you can't beat up on the same person over and over to get multiple ECFs.
2) Guardsmen who participate in at least three matches will be awarded 5 Loyalty for participation. Also, each Elite Cluster of Fire carries with it a value of 1 loyalty. You need to submit these matches to me via IRC or email in addition to the match report form.
3) If you defeat a Guardsman, you need to submit the match results directly to me on IRC (or email me if im not on IRC) in addition to submitting it via the match result form on DJB.org. That's the only way I'll know for certain to award you an ECF. And you'll get your regular CFs too.

I'm intrigued as to how that will work- could you challenge someone on Thursday, specifiying that it's for the GMRG Grand Melee Crucible, and although the match might be completed some time down the line, would it still count for that event?

The loyalty for3 matches is only on Thursdays??

Yes Arania, it's only on Thursdays currently. If one day a week works out fine I'll expand it to Tuesday also.
And it lasts all day Thursday... its supplemental to the normal Thursday gaming night... not a replacement for it.
