The first of the special events. This runs two weeks, and will be added to the total of one of the updates. Participation also scores points, so if you cant game for whatever reason, nothing will stop you from scoring points now.
The war has just begun. How is your character adjusting to battle? Is he or she in the trenches somewhere? Is he or she whimpering in the back? Or slaughtering things all around?
In other words: a fiction(TNR 12, 2 pages minimum, no max), with the subject being your character in this war. Entries are due Sunday the 18th. Recipients should be me, Telona, and Kaek. We will judge them on writing, creativity, originality and humor.
EDIT: note that humor is optional, not mandatory. you can make a funny story, but it is entirely possible a serious story scores just as much. -END EDIT-

Wars need comic relief too... and this is more of a "hey guys, lets get our troops and go pwn these pirates"
Exactly, Shad... Think Bob Hope and the USO... or the WW2 comic books with Superman beating up Hitler and stuff.
Yes, war is hell... unless you have clowns!
Plus I don't want to read stuff that doesn't entertain me!
