Hey all
Were going to make a slight change to the procedure on submitting competitions for approval. From here on, if youre submitting a competition for a unit that youre not in charge of, you need to get approval from that units summit first and indicate that you have done so in the request.
For example, if you are a Battleteam leader and you want to run a competition for your House, clear it with your Quaestor or Aedile first and then make a note in the request that you have received approval. If youre a Quaestor or Aedile and you want to run a competition for your Clan, get approval from your Consul of Proconsul first and then indicate that you received approval in your request. No one is restricted from running a competition so long as they have received approval from the unit leadership in question.
This will make sure that all summits are aware of everything going on in their respective units and will hopefully cut down on medals being requested that cannot be rewarded. If you have any questions, leave a comment and Ill respond to you.
Thanks

Uh... I seriously hope this does not mean we have to bring lots of "proof" we've asked around... it's getting way too bureaucratic. Everyone in my clan asks about competitions anyway, and if they forget, we don't care either. So please please don't require lots of extra stuff for CSP competitions.
All it means is whoever runs the comp needs to say somewhere in the request that so and so approved it. That's the extent of proof we need. I don't expect anyone to lie about it but if they do, those cases will be dealt with...........in a manner that we feel is appropriate.
