Few individuals can comprehend the dreadful implications of becoming a Royal Guardsman. To be a Royal Guardsman is to serve the Iron Throne unquestionably. Your mind, your body, and your soul belong to the Grand Master. You are no longer burdened by choice; no longer burdened by conscience. There is no free thought. There is only a terrible and unwavering Conviction to live and die at His behest. The GMRG is inveritably an extension of the Grand Master himself--the physical manifestation of His indomitable will. To be a Royal Guardsman is to safeguard the Dominion of the Brotherhood without regard for cost or consequence.

As Guardsmen, Darksabre and Nekura have both served the Grand Master's Royal Guard with unquestionable loyalty. As Guard Captains, they are a paragon to which all other Guardsmen aspire. In the past few months, they have done the Grand Master a great service. And He is pleased. In recognition of their exemplary service to the GMRG I am awarding both of them a Grand Cross.

(Edit: I just noticed that Darksabre already has 5 GCs so I'lI probably award him something else of equivalent value instead).

I also think it appropriate that Darksabre and Nekura be the first of hopefully several Guardsmen to done the crimson Ceremonial Armor of the GMRG. Each of them will be awarded a one-time bonus of +350 loyalty. Darksabre will be elevated to the rank of Guardsman III; and Nekura will be elevated to the rank of Guardsman I.
