Greetings!

It is my distinct pleasure today to make an addition to the Dark Council: Radek Iceclaw will be stepping into the role of Seneschal!

As you all know, we had a phenominal team with CG and Jam3z for a couple years and when they stepped down, I honestly didn't know if we would be able to replace them. Shortly after that though, I started working with Radek on a few projects and he quickly earned my confidence, and more importantly, my trust. And that was the hardest thing in choosing a new SCL -- believe me. I'm not one to give out a lot of unhampered access, but Radek has shown me that he is responsible and can handle the massive thing that is the DB site.

There's a lot of work that needs to go into the DB site, and the thing that stood out quickly about Radek is that he and I have very similar ideas on coding standards and practices. Together we worked out a standards document that we will be implementing all over the site. On his first few projects, Radek has shown that he is an extraordinary programmer and will be able to add a lot to our functionality. Good times are ahead for our site.

I am very encouraged by the prospects of the new coding team that is being assembled. Look for more great additions soon!
