The resort moon of Gethsemane, once the gleaming gem of Clan Arcona, is now little more than a smoldering rock burning brightly in the Dajorran sky. Many of Gethsemane's cities lie in desolate ruin--nothing remains but twisted heaps of metal and concrete half-buried in a sea of ashes.

Gethsemane's northern hemisphere is now completely occluded by smoke and soot. A thick miasma of ash, carried by lateral wind patterns, has rapidly belted across the entire latitude of the small moon... yet despite the encroaching nuclear winter, Clan Arcona has redoubled its efforts to restore Gethsemane to the paradise it once was.

After two weeks, the insurgency has finally ended. Nearly half of Gethsemane's indiginous population was exterminated when GMRG unleashed nuclear and biological weapons--targetting the moon's densest population centers. Clan Arcona merely lacked the conviction to take the steps that were necessary to facilitate an immediate end to this crisis... but the Grand Master and his servants have insured that this world will never openly defy the Dark Brotherhood again.

The true nature of this insurrection still remains a mystery. Suspicions have arisen that another Clan, or perhaps even a member of the Dark Council, is responsible for recent events on Gethsemane; evidence uncovered on Gethsemane links the insurgents to a smuggling ring operating the black market on precious gases extracted from gas giants such as the one Gethsemane orbits... interrogation of these smugglers might reveal who is ultimately responsible for the recent uprising--and more importantly why.
