Since I was late last week, I figured I'd get these out early, just to keep you all on your toes. :P

1: The Murder Mystery League is now over. I'm pleased to say I think it went quite well for a first time ever event - it will need some tweaking and refining before the next time it gets run, but all in all I think everyone did really well. And the bit you're really all waiting for - the winners!

In first place, with 118.5 points, came House Acclivis Draco and they win the funkarrific "Chalice of Vengeance"; full description of all its weird and wonderful powers forthcoming (there would be a graphic but I'm bad at those).

In second place, with 102 points, the biggest upset of the entire League, came House Galthain! Well done the Sith! They win the truly incredible "Magnifying Glass of True Sight", description forthcoming, graphic not (see above).

In joint third place, with 82.5 points each, were Houses Marka Ragnos and Aleema.

All medals have been recc'ed! Well done to all who took part - you're all champions! :)

2: There will be some new competitions starting up for the Krath on Saturday - I'll post details on the news page then, and will also announce them at the meeting; they are quite small competitions as we've just finished a large scale kick-ass (if I say so myself) comp, and I know you all like to slack off in December. However, I would like to see everyone try and participate in these competitions please. :P

3: There's a run-on up at the Krath Message board: "The Hunt for Karian". It looks like it's going to be lots of fun, and there's three DCs going for three best posts on the run-on. Don't get left out, come along and take part @ http://mb.ehnet.org/mb.php?action=view&forum_id=11&topic_id=51&page=1&sort=ASC

4: The DGM will most likely mention this in his own announcements, but just to reiterate!: Design a Bad Guy Competition. This looks to be a great competition, and one that I expect the Krath should do well in. Check out details at http://www.imperialacademy.org/comps/badguy/ and get those imaginations going!

5: Archive construction is on a bit of a go-slow at the moment because I'm into my last two days at university and it's a bit hectic. Once I'm home and have less to do all the time, work on this should pick up; I'd also like to thank DA Elya (a.k.a. Arania :P ) for her really kind offer of helping me with HTML - it should go much quicker now, so thanks!

6: I also hope to get a couple more of the Shadow Academy Krath Studies Courses done this vacation; with any luck, the fiction and poetry basic courses should get done by Christmas. Others should follow in the New Year.
