At Toy Fair in NYC, Hasbro is showcasing their 2007 line up of toys. Amoung all the very cool updates to their regular lines is a new line titled "Force Unleashed". These action figures are going to support the next -gen video game coming from LucasArts in 2007.

Starwars.com have been showcasing storyboards from the game since last year and there's even a sneak peek video online.

If Hasbro is calling the toy line Force Unleashed then I'd say it's it's safe to say that is the title. However, this could be a working title and nothing is truly official until we see it at Starwars.com. Titles have changed before, remember? Matter of fact check out this sneak peek image over at IGN.com. It has Force Unleashed in the title of the file. Could the title have been under our noses this entire time?

So we've got a possible title, now what about these action figures? Click on through to Rebelscum.com for images of new Jedi characters, more variations of Stormtroopers, and a Vader you have to see to believe!

The following information is apparently from a German gamer magazine:

The Game comes to PS3 and Xbox360 with a release date of November 2007 (USA)
The story is set between III and IV and is about Vader's attempts to bring down the Emperor, using an apprentice (you, the player) to fulfill his plans. The reasons for Vader are that he realizes Palps betrayal of dragging him to the Dark Side, but he also realizes that it's too late to change it, so he wants to do everything he can in the underground.
The player starts as a trained Sith, who masters various Force powers (e.g. Force Speed, Force Push, Force Lightning, etc...). It is said that in the progress of the game, you will achieve greater power and grow even stronger than Vader and the Emperor, eventually.
The player is hunting Jedi who survived Order 66. In one duel he will fight against Shaak Ti, who is in control of numerous Rancors [remember that concept art]. He can beat her by tearing the Rancors apart from inside out.
There will be a linear end, and maybe an alternate one, too.
Vader might be playable
The Force powers are portrayed like never before. When someone is Force Pushed, e.g, it will look like he's hit by a canon shot.
The game uses Euphoria and DMM (see Indy 2007 Game), meaning it will be extremely realistic.
There will probably comics and novels set around the game. (like SotE)

If I am not mistaken, someone had posted this sneak peak during the fall or was it the summer? But the first post did not have as much info as this one does. I truly would like to see this game for the computer, I think it will be as big as KOTOR was. Just a bit sorry to see stormies getting battered :P.

Parts of the video was leaked last summer, yes. I think there are a couple of additional scenes in the official video now.

The rest of the information about the plot etc is all new AFAIK.
