I am opening the position of Deputy Grand Master for applications. Candidates must be able to exhibit leadership and creativity of unprecedented levels. You and your work will be affecting the Brotherhood as a whole, and you must be able to meet the challenges of the job.
You will be required to work with a variety of personalities, a variety of skill levels, and you must meet these challenges with good cheer and enthusiasm. The Deputy Grand Master is a position of extreme importance and I will rely heavily on your skills as a project manager, mediator, and advisor. Applicants for the position of DGM must be prepared to immediately step into a fast paced working environment and take over a number of responsibilities ranging from DSC article reviews to managing the RoS.
Applicants must have an outstanding email turn around (24 hours or less), a high level of presence on mIRC, proven experience running Clan size or larger competitions, and excellent written communications skills. I will look favorably upon those who have excellent knowledge of Dark Brotherhood activity platforms (ACC, XVT, XWA, JA, JO, RC, EaW, SWG, ecT) and those with a base knowledge of the Star Wars Expanded Universe.
Applications should be sent to the Grand Master with the subject line "Application for DGM". Applications must address the criteria listed above and any other information you believe is beneficial for your selection as Deputy Grand Master (I suggest something about your goals for the DB and possibly your ideas of how we become better! :p). Applications are due by 6 March; however, I reserve the right to select a Deputy Grand Master any time after 27 February.
I will conduct interviews of several if not all applicants.

I know no formal rank requirements are imposed...but it's silly to think that a DJK would get the job, even a promising one.
In all seriousness, what is the suggested, at least, rank to have in order to apply?
This position should be earned not granted by an application and I can think of a few people that would fit this position quite well.
erm, not everyone is capable to do that job described above ;)
True, anyone can apply - but as I'm a DJK, I'm more interested in the Magistrate and Praetor positions. :P
Rank should never automatically discourage anyone from applying for something, some of the best Dark Council members in history have been people who have been relatively new and brought fresh ideas to the table.
Of course, Sarin will naturally want to appoint somebody he trusts and has confidence in, which rank does indirectly affect as if you've been around long enough to build up a good relationship with him then you'll likely already have been around long enough to hold a certain rank, but it's not always the case.
And even if you don't get the job, you've still applied, which means Sarin might remember your name and start to notice you, which helps build toward that relationship I mentioned above. Maybe he'll remember that you were the guy who suggested some really neat ideas and think of offering you a Praetor or Magistrate role in the future.
In reality, I naturally expect it'll be somebody SBL+ or so, but that doesn't mean if you're newer you shouldn't apply if you think you've got what it takes. Even if you don't get DGM, maybe you'll get remembered for P:DGM.
I'd just like to say: I'm not interested in the position. For those who are... just apply. You'll never know unless you try. =P
