With the return of GM Thedek to active duty (yay Thedek), I got in a bit of a nostalgic mood. I was looking through some old files and whatnot when I came across the old backup copy of the pre-split database. For those of you who don't know/remember, when the Exodus occurred, we dumped all of the news and report data from any time prior to our independence. Well, I kept a copy of the old stuff.

I have always loved the ability to go back through and read some of the old news so we can remember and compare eras. So, to facilitate that for myself and for everyone else, I converted and imported all of the pre-Exodus data that I had into the current database. This resulted in the addition of over 3500 reports and 1500 news posts to our current lot. We don't have anything pre-2001, unfortunately.

There is some very valuable information in those news archives and reports. I encourage you, especially as you work on your wiki articles for the clans and houses, to take a good look at everything. Even if not working on such a project, go fumble around with the archives and read up on what happened through Chi-Long and Firefox's reign's.

You can view the clan reports by navigating to the clan rosters, the DC reports by clicking the link to the left and the new archives by clicking the link right at the top of this column.
