Yep, I once more got a crazy idea in my head, namely a JA CTF Tournament.
Rules:
1) all clans who want to participate submit a list of four base players, with 1 or 2 reserves.
2) Max amount of people in game per clan is 4, the reserves can go in when one of the main players cant participate for whatever reason.
3) Clans fight all 5 other clans.
4) A match lasts until one clan has captured the flag 20 times, or until a match has lasted 30 minutes.
5) The clan with the most wins wins.
Prizes:
First level crescents for the top-3 teams, and bragging rights for the winning team.
Teams:
all clans have 1 week to send me their teams, consisting of 4 base players, plus a max of 2 reserve players. no-one besides those registered players will be allowed to participate. clans who do not send me their teams in time, will not be able to participate.

Until we capture the flag 20 times? Um...I've played matches of first to 5 that lasted an hour. I'm not playing for 5 hours. :P
Oh and, no JO CTF? Nobody likes JA CTF.
added another option to end the match, ie: 30 minutes. happy now? :P
and the fact that you don't happen to like JA, doesn't mean the that no-one likes it. :P
I love JA, but nobody plays JA CTF. It's not just an opinion. :P Why not have both?

Sharad, it starts up whenever I have complete teams for all clans, with a max of one week from now. it'll last 7 days, perhaps more if there are problems getting all matches done by then.
seriously Korr, great idea but no one but CSP plays JA CTF, JA is good in sabers but it blows in CTF, every gamer who tried both will tell you that.
If you don't want to play, then don't sign up. It's as simple as that. If there aren't enough Clans participating, then Korras will know that it's not a popular platform. If enough Clans DO sign up, then you guys just look like idiots. :P

Korras, what server were you planning on doing this on? Kr'tal doesn't support CTF maps, unless you get Duga to fix that.

To be totally honest, Yes JA CTF sucks...and when I say that I mean IT SUCKS.......JO CTF is by far the best out there. But like certain people said..if you dont like it, dont do it.
It sounds all fine and dandy, lets just hope that there is enough people that play this. The reward(medals) are really good...if that doesnt convince people then nothing will.
Geez, not much room for error. In two weeks the whole thing will be done... That also sounds very optimistic to me. :P
Hence the reserves, Sharad. I don't mind the sounds of the tourney, and look, you might have a bit of fun. It isn't a "serious" comp like the GJW or RoS, so just do it and stop complaining.
Korras has shown a little initiative and wants to get people active leading into the GJW and wants to give medals, let him do it.
And if you don't like the idea then email him instead of bashing it here.

The BF2 option seems far more exciting to me unless you're doing Sabers Only CTF in JA. Guns in those Jedi (X) games are cheap/cheesy.

I'd play JA CTF. Never had the opportunity, so good or bad, i'd like to play. I'll also play JO CTF. but we need to resolve the server issues.

An admin can change it manually. Lucius said he would fix the voting issue and what not many months ago, yet that hasn't happened. Silly Lucius. =P
