Onboard the Modified Escort Shuttle Scribe - Antei System

The Battlemaster sat in what was the community area of the craft, alone save for the five crew members on loan from the Antei Defense Forces, all busy evading the Vong Weaponry.

He seemed unaffected as the craft rocked to and fro, each time narrowly escaping destruction. His mind was deep in thought, as he replayed the series of events that would lead to Antei being utterly abandoned, the Dark Hall emptied. It seemed so improbable that he had a difficult time realizing this was reality, that the Baraata Option had actually been executed.

"Tribune, we're receieving a transmission from the Grand Master" the naval lieutenant reported. Derev nodded towards a console, indicating for the officer to route the call to that panel. As he approached and quickly tapped in a series of commands, a severely garbled tranmission began to come through, and the Battlemaster could faintly make out the image of Grand Master Sarin.

"Derev, I'm transmitting rendevous coordinates to you now. We must act quickly to broadcast an important message to the Brotherhood, while time still remains" the Grand Master said, an obvious rush in his voice. The Battlemaster nodded as he received the coordinates.

"Understood" the Battlemaster replied as he ended the transmission with a single press of a button.

"Lieutenant, set a course for the following coordinates" the Tribune ordered, as The Scribe set it's course for a rendevous with the Grand Master.

OOC: After consulting with the Grand Master, the Dark Voice has moved up it's publication date of the next issue of the Dark Voice. Issue I of Volume V will be presented to the Brotherhood this weekend.
