According to EW.com, there will definitely be another Star Wars movie. Due to open on 15 August 2008, The Clone Wars is George Lucas seventh movie in the Star Wars series. This movie is supposed to fill in the gaps between Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

Just an FYI - this is the same animated project LA has been talking about for awhile now, but they recently decided to premier the series with a movie, and then continue on from there with TV episodes.
Yeah, this is just them stringing together that "Clone Wars" animated series that was featured on Toonami into one block.

A while back, people in the SF Bay Area should have seen postings in the SF Chronicle about a need for voice actors, with the auditioning out near Ft. Mason. That was probably LA...or Pixar...or Dreamworks...

yeah, i heard about this on G4 a while back. actually, i was talking about it with some friends earlier today, but i heard that it was only going to be in theatres in europe. not sure, hopefully im wrong.
The series premiere will be longer and will be shown in theaters. Then the rest of the series will be on tv.
To add a possitive outlook on this: I generally don't watch animated movies, but I am looking forward to it, it will be interesting to see how they make a series premire into a movie. I am also liking the thought of Anakin's Apprentice. I have to wonder what happened to her...
