As we enter Week Four of the Great Jedi War, I wanted to send another update along as to points in the Shadow Academy event - "Instruction". First, though, I had a few SA-related points to make:

1) The SA site is currently being converted from asp to php code, and we are in beta testing. Obviously, problems have come up that are being fixed. One of those problems is that courses passed do not send an email or register with the database. We know this is happening, and all courses passed will be added manually to your dossier, so there's no need to email us saying it didn't work, we know. Right now, just keep a record of what courses you submit and get emails from, so we know we don't miss anything. Sorry for the hassle, but it'll be better in the end.

2) There have been reports of a course passing registering with the database, but giving you the wrong course. For instance, today someone passed Photoshop when it should have been History of the Sith Empire II. Going along with #1, we just ask that you double check things on your end, and keep a record of any problems, but don't send us those things until we're ready on our end.

3) Remember that you have to get a bad score deleted before you can retake it. If you do not do this, the retake will get lost in the database and will not count, there's nothing we can do then.

4) Most know about the Dark Savant - Leadership and Communication degree, worth ten points, but did you know there is a second Savant as well? Writing and Philosophy requires the Mavens Writing and Philosophy, as well as Advanced Poetry and the Advanced Test of Wisdom, plus two electives, and is worth another ten points in the GJW event. Those two degrees along are worth twenty points. You can find the full list of degrees here.
