Carpe Diem, Surge Ad Gloriam.

This month, I have another official Scroll of Appointment to present, to officially welcome the new Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh. So, without further ado:

Tron is, indisputably, one of the most influential and accomplished members of the DB, and the Overlord and founder of Clan Naga Sadow, so its great to see him stepping up to active duty again. Hes got some great ideas and we look forward to seeing what he can do with House Ludo Kressh.

The big bit of news this month again concerns the upcoming Rite of Supremacy, which starts in THREE days, on the 2nd of January. The match-ups for the first round were recently announced, and weve been pitted against Clan Plagueis in the first round of the competition; as soon as the RoS starts, me and Taig will be letting everyone know which events have been chosen for us to compete against Plagueis in. We`ve had some good progress on projects over the last month, although things will be put mostly on hold over the RoS so that we can all concentrate hard on the business of pwnage.

1.Bobs been putting a lot of time into the Black Guard to really develop their coolness and unique position; apparently hes also negotiated some kind of (very sexy) prize for Black Guard members if CNS can achieve 1st or 2nd place in the Rite of Supremacy, so there`s even more motivation!

2.Weve got a fair few more articles for the CNS Website Redesign completed; at my count, of the 92 articles weve planned in total, 65 are still to be completed. That said, a couple of our members are working away on getting some articles finished up, and once they`re all (or mostly) done I can blaze ahead with the artwork and we can get the coding sorted.

3.We got a few good entries for the Writing Training Course that was run, and myself and Macron were able to give out some hopefully quite helpful advice to those who submitted a piece of fiction. The Course is still ongoing, though, so if you particularly want some advice on your fiction before the RoS kicks in, get in touch with us!

Now, weve been talking a lot about this Rite of Supremacy. Theres been a lot of information flying around. I just want to say this: my one goal during this competition is that we show the rest of the Brotherhood exactly what we`re made of.

I am confident that this Clan contains some of the friendliest and most talented individuals in the Brotherhood; I might not be in this position without the support and friendship of the former throughout my time in the DB, and the latter is self-evident from the number of Sadowans who have gone on to positions of great power and authority.

The time has come, fellow Disciples of Sadow: the time has come to show off exactly what we can do and to fight our hardest. Its not going to be easy, but where we have determination and the will to succeed, we **will** achieve greatness! Ill be on the front lines fighting as hard as I can- who`s going to join me?

Christmas was fairly standard fare, although spending a couple of days in Southampton with family and no internet connection was mildly frustrating. I`m glad I could get Gmail on my phone, or I would have gone just a little bit nuts. New Year should be great, though- party in Sheffield where much booze will be consumed and many inappropriate topics will be discussed.

And two days after that, it`s time to cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war. Are you ready?
