RoS Results
Today, I finished up the grading on the non-ACC events.
In the CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH of Revan vs Taldryan, there was just one event left: Fiction.

4.)Shadow/Sharad (TAL)
5.)Dalthid Callus (IHR)
This was really really really close, as I had two contenders for fifth place, and it took me three readthroughs to determine who would take it, as the Score was down to a two point margin.
In the end, Independent House Revan makes history by defeating Clan Taldryan, 16 to 14 points in the fiction event and earning the title of First House of the Brotherhood. Not since House Ektrosis was an independent house, has a house bested all other clans. That, in and of itself, is mighty impressive, and shows what can be done when people are highly motivated and highly skilled, despite overwhelming odds.
For their intense efforts to break Revan's winning streak and challenging them heartily as well as not losing to any other unit, Taldryan is awarded second place.
In the fight for third place, Arcona faces Naga Sadow. While ACC is still open, Poetry went to Sadow, leaving Fiction to be graded.

With 20 points going to Sadow and ten going to Arcona, Naga Sadow wins the fiction event. Combined with their win in Poetry, the match is decided. Clan Naga Sadow wins Third Place, and Arcona wins Fourth Place.
As mentioned before the final round, Tarentum took Fifth Place for having bested both Scholae Palatinae and Plageis in the knockout bracket.
The final matchup still need to have the ACC matches graded, but the poetry event and Graphics events have already been graded. Graphics went to Scholae as mentioned in an earlier news post, and I have the poetry event results right here.

With a score of 18 to 12, Scholae Palatinae wins the poetry event. Combined with their victory in graphics, Scholae Palatinae wins Sixth Place.
Even though the ACC matches are not all graded, the events have decided the outcome here.

I'd like to take a moment and congratulate you all for your efforts. This was a totally new sort of Vendetta event that we did this last 6 weeks, and all of you took the vast differences in stride, helping us all discover where this new style of event succeeds, where it needs work, and what needs to be wholesale discarded. I really enjoyed reading a lot of your fictions, seeing your graphics, seeing your poetry, and grading your ACC matches, despite the heartburn and headaches they gave me. ;)

Well done Revan. I hate to see the title of First House leave my grasp and fall into your hands, but it is well earned. Good job guys, and to CNS, ARC, TAR, CSP and PLA as well.
Also, thanks so much Muz for keeping this event going, and going strong. Both in originality of events to the ethic you put into grading everything, doing your best (and a job well done!) to grade fairly. Next time, don't let the DC go home =P

It takes some serious talent for a House to best a Clan - particularly when the two events that were challenged by IHR had some top placers from the opposition. Congratulations and great work. If anyone deserved this title and this legacy, it would be you. Don't let it go to your head however. Taldryan has a long memory, and we'll be back at some point for our title. Keep it warm for us. =P
Great job, Revan- definitely a well-deserved victory. And congratulations/thanks to everyone who submitted an entry, whether they placed or not! I think most of my hair has fallen out from stressing about the results, so mostly, thank god it's over :P

Well done, Revan. I think I'm pretty accurate when I say that many of us weren't expecting you guys to burst out into the open and snatch up the win. That was very impressive and I congratulate all of you.
