Happy Motherâs Day to any mothers out there. In lieu of this holiday the HRLDâs Office has a neat little competition for everyone. So for this competition I ask a simple question, who is your favorite SW/DB Female Character? For this competition you have two options: One redraw your favorite SW/DB Female Character or send in a picture and give me at least 2 paragraphs as to why they are your favorite. The competition starts today and will run until May 23rd. 2nd Level Crescents will be handed out to the best 3 submissions (either by quality of the drawing or how convincing your reason is). Have Fun! And remember send submissions to [Log in to view e-mail addresses]

any limit on the size? I mean other the the odvious? :P nothing to large.
As long as it can be attached to your email, I mean I dont want anything that I could print out and put on my wall :P
Engrish?
Just to note. There is a difference between file size and resolution (viewing) size. The two are similar in ways, but when asking questions regarding size, one has to be a little more specific. You could have a 800x600 pixels size photo and it be 72 dpi (crappy size, good for screen) or a 300+ dpi (great for print) and the results could give you different file sizes.
From what I can tell. Jeric wants the file size to be able to attach to email...so somewhere around 2MB, no bigger. But he doesn't want it so when printed with a larger machine, he can put it on his wall. ....so like BIG. Probably ending up with a size that is 50MB + depending. Also something that might eventually fill up his machine. *Some of these numbers are a rough estimate.
FYI I try to make things small enough "size wise" that my submission goes through, and resolution big enough, that the judge doesn't have to squint to see it. :P
alrighty then, was that really needed? just wondering ^^^
anyway, where's the "oh and happy birthday cado" :P
Excellent concept Jeric, I like it alot
A question, will the top three images be used for anything. Perhaps they could be presented to the depicted members for use on their DBWiki?
Well Cado, you've seemed to have done a nice enough job congratulating yourself so why should we bother? Happy birthday mate
Good idea Ood & thanks, however what if the winners arenât redrawn character images? But I will keep that in mind if they are. Also Cado is right, was that really necessary RH? I was joking around, as I donât care for the file or image size. Thanks for the lecture and all but I am sure anyone submitting to a gfx competition knows the difference between the two RH ;) Like I said its not like I am going to print them out and post them on my wall or use them for a message board avatar. So I could care less how big or small they are, as long as I can see whats going on. Hope that clears things up, even though this was never a problem in the past 3 competitions :P
Just to be persnickety, I think you meant that you could not care less. He explains it quite well:
