the AWOL has ended. I have sent out a list of those being AWOL'ed to the Consuls. they will have 48 hours to convince me that some are not going to be AWOL, but those exceptions will be rare, considering a reply to the check costs all of 20 seconds, and there have been plenty of anouncements.

Some of the people on our list joined after the AWOL check was sent. They didn't reply because they were never sent the check in the first place.
I assume those people are going to be excused?
yes, that is one of the reasons I sent the list over to the CON's for checking. I thought I got most based on their ID code, but apparently I didn't.

Slice forbid the Consuls are allowed to run their own AWOL checks =P
CONs are weak and lenient :P
Consuls have a hard time doing the things that they need to be doing. Running AWOL checks from the MAA office not only solves the issue of impartiality, but also frees up clan and house leadership's time to do things that are necessary, like engaging new members and writing reports.
Reports aren't all that, trust me ;)
It took Thran and I 30 minutes (if) after the RoS to go over the whole of CSPs list of members to be looked at as being AWOL'd.

I can assure you, on my list there are people clans otherwise would not AWOL, in every clan.
