Think you have what it takes to be a Bryar Superstar? Then you’ve come to the right place. Welcome, everyone, to the Bryar Bowl IV: Bryar Free or Bryar Hard signups. Hard work has gone into preparing this competition for you, and I hope that you’ll enjoy playing. For more information on Bryar Free or Bryar Harder, please keep reading.

The Bryar Bowl is a tournament-based gaming competition using the Bryar Pistol and Jedi Outcast exclusively. This is its fourth run in the Brotherhood, and has been made a DB-wide competition (with approval from the Grand Master and Master at Arms). It features 16 starting players, and ends with one on top. Participants go head-to-head, playing up to three matches against their opponent. The person that ends up with two out of three is the winner of that bracket, and moves onto the next round.

There are a total of four rounds. Participants play each other (using only the Bryar Pistol) on the Brotherhood’s Jedi Outcast server. The overall winner of the competition is known as the Bryar Pimp. The person who faces the Bryar Pimp and loses is known as the Bryar Bitch; marked with shame of their defeat. This Bryar Bowl is open to all members of the Brotherhood – whether you’re a regular old member, or a member of the Dark Council; even the Grand Master can participate. Anyone that partakes in running the competition, however, cannot.

Awards

All participants will be receiving standard Clusters of Fire for their participation in the event. You need to bring it, to win it. Those who get knocked out in the First Round will not have as many CoFs as those who get knocked out in the Third Round. The two 3rd place winners (the losers in the Semi-Finals) will receive their respective set either 3rd, 2nd or 1st level crescents on-top of their Clusters of Fire (see comp. details; Crescent value will change due to amount of participants). The two that move onto the final round, will have a different set of awards. Both the Bryar Pimp/Bryar Bitch will receive (different) graphics that they can choose to display on their dossier, as well as Crescents for 1st and 2nd place.

Dates!

Event will be running from the 25th of October to the 7th of November. There are 4 rounds in the Bryar Bowl, with each round lasting 3 days each to complete your matches. All matches must be submitted via the DJB admin option "Submit Scores" under JO > Ladder.

<p>When all of the slots have been filled, another news post will be made. All signups will take place on this news post. In order to signup, you must simply comment on this post stating ‘Sign me up’ or something similar. Preferably something that is CLEAR and understandable so that we aren’t guessing if you’re participating or not. First come first serve. When Disorder has ended, another news post will be made officially opening the Bryar Bowl. All of first round brackets will be randomized.</p>

<p>Then, you’ll know exactly how/where to submit your matches, how long you have until the round ends to get your matches in, and who you’re playing. Like any other gaming event, you are required to be in #dbgaming when playing your opponent, and must state in that channel that you are playing your opponent.</p>
