Into The Underworld: Introductory Fiction

After several weeks of work, the combined Summits of Tarentum and Arcona would like to present the members of both respective units this event. The preceding report is the introductory fiction that also has doubled up as this quarter's fictional advancement for Tarentum. Week One Events are as follows:

Week One: May 15 - 22, 2011

Gaming - Gaming kicks off from the beginning. General gaming scores two points per win, zero points per loss. Themed gaming scores three points per win, one point per loss. Themed gaming will consist of "inconspicuous" attempts at penetrating the syndicates incognito, and will focus on guns matches against anyone outside of Tarentum and Arcona. One-on-One MP for this week. Report to #dbgaming on IRC for all of your match-seeking needs.

Gaming submissions should be submitted to the database using "Special Gaming 3" in the "Score Type" field (the top drop down menu), by request of the Fist, Fremoc Pepoi. To access this, log in to the DB site, and from the admin page, hit "Submit Scores" under the Activity heading, and fill in the form there. Fiction - Fiction events will be divided up into short week-long events, and an overall fiction short story event that will be due at the end of the competition. Fiction submissions sent to [Log in to view e-mail addresses], with your PIN and ID Line within the submission itself.

Week One (week-long): Create an NPC involved in one of the families of syndicate gangsters. Listed in the dramatis personae are five of the seven family heads; two of the heads and their families are unnamed, and are up for creation. Also available are other members of each family and their associates, thugs and so on.

Pictures can be added as you see fit, but note whether or not the image was created by you, or pulled from the internet (and, if so, where for reference purposes). Descriptions can be in any format, but should provide enough physical and personality description so that a Wiki page can be built for these people.

Week One (event-long): Members of Tarentum and Arcona will be looking to penetrate the anonymity of the syndicates, and find the bases, lieutenants and resources of Syrus Bek. Tarentum wants its resources back, and needs to find what was stolen, and retrieve it, along with the Asylum research personnel.

The short story will be about individual members and their part of the overall Alliance plan to deal with Bek, and retrieve Tarentum's property and personnel. Arcona's leadership has as much at stake, since many of their own research projects take place at the Asylum facilities. Each part of the Alliance is looking to secure what was stolen, but will have their own methods for infiltrating the syndicates, and making the gangsters talk.
