After what seems like forever, I am able to get online again.

Some kind of virus is disrupting my connection, so I will be on IRC,

however infrequently. I will be keeping up with my duties as Aedile, and

you can count on me to help keep Galeres running smoothly.

A bit of suprising news....In a recent round of Trivia after the weekly

Brotherhood meeting, all jaws dropped in astonishment as the beloved Aedile

of House Galeres walked away with the #1 spot, procuring a LSS for himself.

That's right kiddies, I finally did it :P No one thought I would be capable

of such an astonishing feat, yet here I stand with a shiny new Legion of the Scholar.

Competitions

Our Quaestor has setup some fine competitions to spark some life into the House.

With the Ace's comp, we will indeed determine who is the most skilllful Jker in the

House. Also, I have some ideas for competitions, some JK, and others MP ladders in

other SW related games like XWing Alliance, Xwing vs TIE Fighter or Force Commander.

Also for those of you who took the chance to dl the demo of Star Wars: Galactic

BattleGround, there is a mp comp in the making for you.

Membership

As a total, we stand at 10 members. This is pitiful. For those of you who care about

Galeres' reputation within the Brotherhood, and would like to see it rise above it's

current status, I suggest recruiting people. Try friends from school/work, people you

know on the Web, or even go play some games on The Zone and recruit some of them. What

we need is members who want to make Galeres a reveered House again.

Activity

The general sense of inactivity within the House MUST change. There are several ways that

all members of House Galeres can keep active, even when House Summit may not have anything

prepared for the near future. One way is by logging onto IRC. For those of you who may not

be familiar with IRC visit:

Just click the download link. We are located on the Undernet in rooms #arcona and #db.

Another way to maintain activity is through the House MessageBoard located at:

There hasn't been a single post to the MB in months, not even to say "I'm alive" or

"This Summit sucks" :P I personally guarantee a DC to the person who starts a Run-On

story, and the one who posts to it the most. At anytime, any member of House Galeres may

submit an original graphic, poem, story, JK level, skin or ANY SW MP game score. This means,

if you submit a score for a Star Wars multiplayer game, it will count as activity. This is

a relativly new way for members to stay active. It will also be taken into account while

evaluating each member for promotions or medals. The point being, ACTIVITY IS REWARDED. Those

of you who do nothing will recieve nothing.
