**QUA on leave

**I will be away and possibly without internet access from the 24th through the 28th, during which time your lovely and talented Aedile, Cymbre, will be in charge.

**!!!Activity-based AWOL Check!!!

**Also, I realize it's holiday season and many are going on vacations, but we are going to start a house AWOL check. It will run until January 17th so there will be plenty of time to respond. However, this will not just be a simple email-to-say-you're-alive kinda thing. Participation in ANY activity or comp, starting today, will be your response to the AWOL check. Since everyone should be ccing myself and Cymbre on submissions anyway, this should be easy. For DFers, participating in Corde's required Eternal Flame comp can count. You also have your choice of any of the Krathy events run by Mai, or Clan or House competitions, and there are several holiday comps as well. (See the updated activities section for TONS of info.) I plan on cleaning out the message boards and archiving old run-ons and other Krathy stuff (sorry but most of the nonsense threads are going...) Posting on the Moving Shadows run-on, starting today, will also constitute participation.

**Great Krath War

**Finally, just as a heads-up, Mai has announced that a Great Krath War will begin January 12, running for six weeks, with four events. This will definitely definitely count toward the AWOL check as well, to say the least ;-)

There is a caption competition which ends December 24th, as well as a special Holiday competition wherein you can create a psychological profile of the feared "Sithy Claus" or design spells, incantations, or artifacts with which to defend against his attack (ends December 30th.)

**Cooch's Holiday Comp

**From our friendly PCON, a fun activity which will probably finish around Christmas. All ya gotta do is take an existing Christmas song/carol/hymn, and change the words so's it's CSP or Star Wars-style. Just like Weird Al! Email submissions to [Log in to view e-mail addresses].

I know this is the time of year when people are on leave and activity is low, but there's lots of ways to be active right now -- so when/if ya get time participate in something!!! I've been seeing the same people over and over on IRC...where's the rest of you??? Pop in every once in a while!

I hope everyone has a happy and safe holiday. Buy me a present. And a birthday present too.

Hey All~

It's eeeeeary in the morning (gotta find me another lover...mmm, song lyric, nevermind :P). Gettin' ready to catch my flight home -- thought I'd dash off a quickie-report for this week, as, like I said, I'm audi until 1st week in Jan. So here goes:

DF News-

Timbal promoted to KP. Woo Hoo! Good Goin' Guy, that's BIG, you deserve it :)

DF Events -

The DF MB is still located at http://64.246.0.3/index.cgi?pbuser=df No one's registered thus far -- that's ok, being tis the holiday season. But puleeease, in Jan., get on those boards!

DF Comps-

Another gratuitous reminder about the "Eternal Flame Comp." Due date is Jan. 20th -- specs can be found in my last report, or under the COMPS section of the DF boards. This is a mandatory comp, and entries will also serve as a Phyle AWOL check. No submission, no DF...and that would be a bummer :(

Dragon Guard Report

Dark Greetings

Let me put it this way. I have been mott for this Phyle up to this point. For that I am sorry, but I will give you the pleasure of knowing why. Life and School has caught up to me recently, and the EH just seems like bagage on me, no fun, just work. For that reason I have kept away from most of my duties. Boy do I feel stupid! :-)

Unfortunately or Fortunately, look at it either way, I will be going on leave from Saturday until about a week. I will be in PA for most of that time, spending quality moments with my sick grandfather. In the meantime I will leave the Phyle in Sunrider's capable hands.

Again, I apologize for the long wait of inactivity but I need to go on leave for the betterment of everyone.
