As Krath High Priestess, I do hereby declare a state of open warfare between the Krath Houses of the Dark Brotherhood. Let all Houses muster their finest, and set them on the course to battle and victory.
Houses can access the information they require to complete the tasks of the War through data terminal 154 (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/krath/sol/). Summits should ensure that all combatants have read and understood the rules of combat before they enter the arena.
Let the War commence! To honour, glory and victory may you go, in search of the Stone of Light...

Statement of Expectations 1-9-2002

The DSC is pretty light of exactly what we should be getting from DB leaders, such as the Dark Council and Summits. So I've drafted, after consultation, a statement of what we should be getting from these people. The final release version of this document is available at http://www.imperialacademy.org/dgm/expectations.htm. Eventually, the points of this document will be integrated into the DSC itself.

Prelude to Andevia starts... 1-6-2002

Today the Prelude to Andevia competition starts. It is open to ALL members of the Emperor's Hammer, regardless of subgroup, rank or position. It features flying, design, fiction and other events. The competition website is available at http://www.imperialacademy.org/comps/prelude/.

Decription:
This competition is to design a 3D Rendered or 2D graphic (rended perfeable) of a Dark Jedi Knight, according to the DSC. All parts of the DJK must conform to the manual (Robe color, etc.), and his saber must he activated.
Additionally, it would be a bonus for the Jedi to be surrounded by some sort of Red Jedi-ish Aura. The rest will be left up to your creativity. :)

Announcements - Grand Master

1) Another week has ended and pretty much everyone is back to school. Now that the holidays are over, you can all find lots of things to keep you busy. I particularly recommend the TO competition, Prelude to Andevia. A lot of work has gone into it and I'd hate to see it all go to waste. Besides, it's a very good way to show the other subgroups that they shouldn't even bother to compete with the DB because they'll lose!
2) All of the DB's Commendations of Loyalty have been awarded (or should be soon), for a list of people who got one, check the main EH website.
3) This week, the relatively new Consul of Clan Naga Sadow, KPN Voranyen has resigned. A combination of lack of time and inspiration seems to be the causes of his decision. I will be accepting applications for the job for the next few days. All applicants should be prepared to pass an IRC interview if they make it past the initial selection process. Members of Naga Sadow will of course be priviledged. Only serious applications will be accepted. Non serious ones will earn their author a date with OHC Sharad. And I know you all want to avoid such a cruel fate. :)
4) As some have undoubtedly noticed, Yacko has been SHW for some time and yet he still doesn't have the minimum rank as listed for the job in the Dark Side Compendium. This is because I have decided to let new DC members keep their current rank until they have proven that they can do the job. I believe that he has done that by now. So, it is with great pride that I promote SBL Yacko to the rank of Sith Warlord!

I have a BIG competition coming up in the next couple of days. I was contemplating running it or not with the Andevia comp, but decided this way no one can complain about not enough stuff to do. This assumes that I can get the login to work (cookie problems atm).

Recruiting comp and all is over. I'll be handing out DCs to those that earned them as soon as I get the appropriate lists of participants.
GMRG stuff to come still. Been working a lot on the website and haven't had enough time to write up some stuff for the GMRG yet.
I didn't get many house summit reports by Friday which I stated they were due in by, so there will be lots of complaining to you lazy guys.
Obelisk xmas comp results to be out within the week.
I haven't as of yet decided on anyone for any staff positions besides M:OHC Shadow. Therefore, I'll be taking apps for M:OHC number 2. The main thing I want you to be able to do is test and find good singleplayer JK levels for me. Therefore if you're applying be sure to attach a good level you've found with a written analysis about it. Other than that include any other skills like HTML, PHP, graphics, etc.

1.) My Order Leader Competition from way back in Yule time is being marked, I need the markings of an Opt File before I can finish marking though, the SHW's beta testing team has currently been tasked with the matter, and will hopefully have it completed soon.
2.) As some may have seen, I sponsored SW Predators "make a djk like graphic" comp on djb.org Why do you ask? Simple, because I like competitions, I like anything that inspires activity. If you'd like to run a comp for the entire DB to be able to participate in, and you're in the Sith Order, email me and we'll hash some stuff out.
3.) Congrats and Good Riddance to Astatine ;) I'm sure you'll bring greatness back to the job buddy.
4.) I have had two new competitions which are excellently done, and have lots of good ideas in them, so you may be seeing them come out into the light of day in the nearer future. Thanks to Khobai and Gord Darkonian.
5.) First Magistrate has been closed for applications. I have narrowed the field down to 3 or 4 candidates, and will be having discussions with them this weekend about who I will appoint. It's not going to be a fun choice.
6.) I have started talking to TAC Striker of the TIE Corps concerning matters which will hopefully have an effect on the whole DB. When I can give further details, I will. Sorry, but I can't be more specific than that.
7.) Just a note, as I am approaching the event horizon of my exams in 2 weeks, my online time will be cut off drastically as I strive to learn all the stuff I should have learned long ago, so, if you need me and I'm not answering on ICQ, send me an email, I'll get back to you ASAP.
8.) On the Beta Testers announcement last week, I accidentally included my private email address in the mailto link, so if people could stop sending to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] and start sending to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] I'd be much obliged :)

Greetings,
I've obtained final approval for my hierarchy changes. So, effective immediately, the Clan Envoy is responsible for the House Envoys. The Clan Envoy will decide whether or not to appoint a House Envoy, and seek my approval. House Envoys are now compulsory.
Dark Voices 1-10, 15-23 are availible upon request from me. If you need one or more, drop me a line and I'll ship out. Hopefully when Grail gets back, we'll finally get them posted on the Domain.
DSC History is being passed around to various writers for their comments.

1) Shadow Academy currently stands at 167 graduates, with 10 Krath BASICS graduates!
2) Mairin has informed me that she hopes to get the DB Leadership course to me by this weekend, so hopefully our first "General" Course will be ASP'd not long after and online for testing. My Preator Betja Jun is alos working on the SA BASICS Course notes.
3) As always if anyone has any ASP skills and wnats to ASP some courses for me, I'd love to hear form you. Just drop me a line, I'm sure we could use an extra pair of hands.
4) Thanks to Grail for his recent remedy in the extra mailing I've had to do with the MAA. I can now promote you myself through dossier editing, so it's all done at once and no-one will mail me asking when they'll be promoted. Thanks to MAA/DA Corran Force for accomodating the extra work I was sending his way. Much appreciated both of you.
5) Congrats to DGM/DJP Astatine. He has been appointed the new Executive Officer of the Emperors Hammer. I'm sure he'll do as much good work for us there as he has done here.

House Ronin Black Omega Report #1

The dark room of the Hall on Aurora shook violently. The dark night outside trembled. The Clan Alvaak had been summoned to meet the new CMDR of their warriors, protectors, and guardians. The House of Ronin stood a silent watch as the ceremony was performed. Protector Frey Gallandro took his place as the new roll master. And then Malik called upon the gathered members to embrace their new CMDR. He emerged from the dark shadows to take his place. PRT Ekim Yellek wore his robes and entered into the dark hall. He stood on the incline and greeted his new fellows.
"Welcome to Black Omega, a very fine squadron of Dark Side Warriors, soon it will be even better, I promise you. We are going to set out goals, and since you are in the Brotherhood I would expect you to want to participate and to fly with us for glory."
We recieved our new fighters for our squadron some time ago and I wanted to let you know again. First Flight is flying the venerable Tie Defender. Second flight is our heavy hitters, four Missile Boats, and third flight is equipped with the Tie Advanced for interceptor work.
I have taken command of Black Omega, and I am going to be looking for seriousness and dedication in the squadron. I'd like to make the Clan proud of us once again. So I am hereby instating a new method, Alpha, Beta, Charlie Orders. Alpha Orders Must be obeyed. Beta Orders are highly reccomended, and Charlie Orders are suggestions that if followed will carry higher weight.
