Hey all, I got things with the family all straightened out so I'm back in full swing. Nothing much to report, you guys already know we are in a great Krath war. Soon as our newest Gladius member finishes his part, the ball will be rolling. Lecryo has expressed interest in joining the Mystics. --Wizards of the Crypt:

Greetings, Phedra (sorry, don't know how to get the mark above the 'a' in your name yet), D'tara, and

Zoltar. You all know me, I think. Kodiak Tonaloc. If you don't, well, I don't know what to say.

But, I am here to talk some 'Wizards of the Crypt' business with you. Right now, our ranks are looking

pretty small. We have only 4 members out of 12 spaces. Not the greatest, but it gives us some room to

work. I also notice that the 3 of you are at the rank of Protector. That is something I would like to help

you all with, in going higher then that.

One obvious way of doing this is to participate in something. I have a an idea. Right now, there is a Krath

War going on, and one item of it is to do a run-on with at the least 5 people contributing to it. I've talked

to Sith, and there are 3 people signed up for it. I would like to offer you guys/gals a chance to help us

out, and maybe get something in return, like a medal or something. I know it's not nuch, but if the

Quaestor sees some activity, well, a medal could go a ways for helping you get promoted on to the next

rank.

Now, before I get something said to me, let me say that this one event may not get you promoted. It's

going to take some more things to prove that you deserve a promo. So, if you want to know more about

this run-on, mail myself ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]), Hades ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]), or Sith

([Log in to view e-mail addresses]), and we can get back to you ASAP about this, and other events going to happen

in the Krath War. I figure though, that a run-on is fun, and we get to bash some of the other Krath Houses

on the way to our goal in it. Got to like that, at least.

Now, is this saying that I am now the TET of the Wizards? No, I am here to help out Sith and Hades till

they appoint someone for this job. But, till then, let's try to get this phyle up and running, shall we?

finds you, and you are gone from Gladius or the DB as a whole, then let me know, and I will make sure

Phyles people. I’m going to continually press this. I’d like to see our membership within our phyles. A battle team can help keep you active, and you can help keep them active.

Apprenticeships. If our elder members would like to personally pass on their knowledge and experience, perhaps you might think about taking an apprentice.

--Merit Points:

Remember Gladius, medals and promotions can be earned faster, by mere participation. Merit points are given as you participate, and more activity brings more points, which yields medals and promotions. Awards and promotions according to point requirements as follows:

-Dark Cross -- 50 points

-War Cross -- 150 points

-Steel Cross -- 300 points

-Grand Cross -- 450 points (because Activity is the heart of the Brotherhood philosophy)

• up to GRD -- 150 points

• JH to DJK -- 300 points

• above DJK -- 450 points

I have not yet assigned a minimum/maximum point limit yet, but points will be awarded for quality, length, and extra points may be awarded for special considerations. Points can be earned for stories, poems, run-on participation, pic submissions for fun comps, anything.

--Dark Voice Submissions:

When you submit to the Dark Voice, you can earn merit points for those submissions as well. Make sure you CC those submissions to your AED/QUA so that we know to award you for your activity above and beyond what you may receive for submitting.
