Artifact Creation Competition
Have you always wanted the chance to create a force-powerful artifact? Well here's your shot.
I'm looking for good artifacts for possible use in future Brotherhood activities. You could even be the winner of this artifact at some later date.
Guidelines:
I'd like one paragraph on each:
Creation of the artifact
History of the Artifact
Effects/powers granted, and how they are activiated.
Detrimental Effects
Level of user required.
Order Specific, or not?
Artifacts with a poor balance of atributes will be rejected. Obviously a Amulet with powers atributed to powerful Dark Jedi, IE: (Force Lightning, Instant-death) would nut be usable by an Apprentice, or even a Dark Jedi Knight. You need to take this into consideration.
All entries have a possibility of being used at a later date. If your's is being kept on file, I'll notify you. You might recieve an award/additional reward when/if it is used.
Whoever creats the "best" artifacts (most realistic) will receive a Bronze Scroll/War Cross, and the second place will receive a Dark Cross. You are free to submit as many different artifacts as you wish, but may only win one award at this time.
Send all submissions to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] with the subject "Artifact Creation" no later than February 23rd at midnight.
Do not plagarize from D&D or any other source. Imitation is fine.....but I have a panel of RPG experts to consult with :P

1) Today the Prelude to Andevia competition starts. It is open to ALL members of the Emperor's Hammer, regardless of subgroup, rank or position. It features flying, design, fiction and other events. The competition website is available at http://www.imperialacademy.org/comps/prelude/. *** A couple of Galthainers have expressed interest in participating in this activity, e-mail the mailing list if you are interested in taking part.
2) If you are interested in designing missions for the DB, or testing missions for errors, contact SHW Yacko and P:SHW Tiger.
3) The Chancellor has announced a competition to design a new DB medal.. details were sent to you already by PCON Darkonian. Submissions (due to CHAN Howlader) for the first section are due January 20th, at 8 PM CST. And MUST have the subject line of "Howie's DB Competition."
4) There's another competition to design a 3D Rendered or 2D graphic (rended perfeable) of a Dark Jedi Knight, according to the DSC. All parts of the DJK must conform to the manual (Robe color, etc.), and his saber must he activated. Additionally, it would be a bonus for the Jedi to be surrounded by some sort of Red Jedi-ish Aura. The rest will be left up to your creativity. Submit To: SW Predator ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) by February 1st. You can win a War Cross.
5) The "Design a Bad Guy" Competition has ended...
6) This & Every Saturday, 2-4pm EST, in #Naga_Sadow, there will be Dark Brotherhood Multiplayer competitions! Attend for some XvT, XWA or JK competition, and represent House Galthain!

Also I have after 6 months of research completed my Sith history project. If you are interested in viewing this extinsive look in to the SIth history please e/mail me and I will send you a copy of it. Be Warne dit is very long, like I said six months of research is involved in it
So our next issue at hand is Battle of the month and it is Tie DB #5. This is due to me by 28 Jan 2002. 100% participation is required on this. Remember I will post High scores as they come to let you know who is in the lead, Top two scores go at it on a Free mission of my choosing. Also I realize that tie does not run well on some of our machines if it runs at all, if you would rather the battle of the month be in a different platform let me knwo and I wil lchange it. But you must let me know!!!
It is a sad note to say but Sith Warrior Adrenaline was place din Rogue status. Due to R/L issues she felt it was neccessary to take car of those things first. Godd luck in all you do Ma'am, you will be missed
Also I am taking volunteers to setup and design DB XwA missions. I have a few plotlines written and would like someone(s) with better skills than I to lay it out in the mission form. I am asking for all you has mission design knowledge, please contact me ASAP if you would liek to help.
Merit system
As you may know we have a merit system in the house. Basically you get different amount points for different activities and when you get enough pts you can exchange them for a medal. OK I think I have the merit system worked out. If my numbers are wrong please let me know so we can update them.
Activity Records : (+merit points are from the Clan Comp last month, 14 points for participating, 5 per pilot file, 3 per fiction sub, bonuses for scoring in top 6 overall)

*Submission of a pilot file: 5 points per platform (5 for TIE, 5 for XvT, 5 for XWA)
*Submission of graphics, fiction: 3 points per sub
*Multiplayer matches: 2 base points (whether you flew 1 match or 100) + 2 points for each victory.
Penalty for not taking part and not being excused: -15
Clan and DB lvl comps:
*Base participation points (any participation at -all-: 14 points
*Submission of a pilot file: 5 points per platform (5 for TIE, 5 for XvT, 5 for XWA)
*Submission of graphics, fiction and the like: 3 points per sub

If anyone want to get a better looking ATR they are free to mail me every week with a list of everything they done (DB related of course) since there's things I might not know of. Good day to mail on is Saturdays since the report is going out on Sundays.
