Still first in the Great Krath War, but our lead is declining... I hope
this was a VERY temporary lag and now let's go and get this thing home!

The overmentioned Prelude to Andevia is by now in everyone's mind, so I
doubt you need another reminder

Trev is still looking for Artifacts as well, so in case you haven't got
enough from the GKW, you can go on there.

Apart from that, the usual. Trivia, DB meeting, Clan CapComp... but I
didn't need to say that...

NEXT QUAESTOR

Drako has decided the next QUA will be determined by an absolute new for
the Brotherhood - a secret uninfluenced democratic vote. And everyone
who wants to put himself up for election needs to apply to Drako and
Gord until the 22nd. They may also address the House once in a candidate
speech at any time after sending the applications. No other campaigning
is permitted (and if I catch someone, I'll report that to Drako).

The effective date of the change shall be around March 3, which will
give enough time to resolve my final competition I will run as QUA
(which will go up after the GKW run-on is done) and hand you your
medals.

FISH FRY

Okay, first things first. I want to thank Kaiann for all the hard work
he has poured into this house. For those of you who weren't here, House
Aleema was...not the first Krath house (to put it lightly) when Kaiann
took over. He has been the most active QUA I have ever seen and led us
from an extremely disappointing second in the Vendetta to the verge of
a complete rout in the GKW. If leaders are judged by results, then very
few can compare to Kaiann. Thanks Annie :)

Now, where was I? Something about...Kaiann! That's right. He did
something which all great leaders are able to do: he transformed a
group of people into a team. He molded the team, appointing and
recruiting who he wanted, trained us, and ultimately led us into
battle. A great accomplishment by anyone, as building a winning team is
infinitely harder than winning individually. There's no secret recipe,
no guidelines, you just gotta trust in yourself and lead.

But what happens now? The team is built and running like a Ferrari.
However, a driver is still needed to steer the team to future
victories. The team also needs a competent pit crew to fix it when it
breaks down, and to upgrade it. The team may switch drivers, who have
different styles, but the goal is still the same: to win and have fun
winning.

We have been cruising along, and I expect we will continue to cruise
even with a driver change. First things first, though. Let's put this
baby into overdrive and flatten the competition in the GKW. Kaiann
wants a spectacular send off, so the least we can do is give it to
him!!
