Well its been made official and the decision is reflected in the Roster. As of yesterday I was formally appointed AED of House Tridens. Ok short, quick speech is over. Down to business.

As we all know, there are a number of comps currently happening.

1. Castle Tarentum Run-On. This comp is still on, although all we need are couple more postings before Wil closes the comp down and hands out the awards.

2. Prelude to Andevia. This has proven to be a successful comp with some very good postings. I urge anyone who has not posted to do so. It doesnt take long and does help us all. Just remember we do a have a time limit on this one.

3. House Crest. Wil has admitted to me that this didnt attract as much attention as he had hoped. Personally I think some of you got scared that you werent able to send in anything good enough. If so, let me assure you that there are no standards here. So how about a few more submissions? If anyone needs any hints, give me a buzz at [Log in to view e-mail addresses]

4. Create a Bio/History. This probably needs some time to think about and also to create, but in its own way, can be fun. Use your imagination and remember we have an entire galaxy in which to set our histories in.

5. Spectre of the Past. Ok, I'd be lying if I completely understood this comp :P I would like the CMDRs to set-up a run-on in each of their squadrons with the following roles for each story:

Hammerhead- Your mission to rescue a Recon group from attack.

Sub-Zero- Your mission is to protec the Phyles from attack.

All relevant information can be found the email sent on 24th of this month.

1. Monthly Free Missions. This comp will be held again in March and to everyone's relief, the AED wont try and finish it before the published date :P
   

Now there you have it. Please lets finish the Castle Run-On, guys. All we need a couple more postings and then we can focus on the Andevia. Oh Hammerhead pilots, as you are assigned to ground operations in the Run-On, it would be good to use that as a focus for your postings.

With all that done, onto two matters Wil has some concerns on.

1. Communications. The current number of postings on the message board is a welcome sight, but Wil's concern is with emails. I'm suggesting that we flood each other's inboxes with emails that are completely pointless, but it would be good to see more of us responding to emails such as the reports and announcements of comps and the like. So a little more please?

2. Recruitment. We currently listed as 21 members with 2 of 3 squadrons active and our activity is pretty good. So things could considered steady, but steady aint sexy as Garibaldi of Babylon 5 once said. So for everyone who is currently active in the TC or the IW, keep an eye out for any active pilots. Send them an email inviting them to join us, explaining what the DB is. If they dont wish to join, accept it and keep an eye out. Of course, if they need more information, give them mine and Wil's email addresses.

On the subject of recruitment, if they dont wish to join up as Sith, but still wish to join the DB, point them to our sister Houses, Gladius of the Krath and Cestus of the Obelisk.
