Just an update in here:

The virus that's been going around is a self-replicating worm that spreads via email and network domains. It's called W32.Klez@mm, and you can find instructions to remove it at http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.klez.h@mm.html.

Please make sure that whilst this is running around the EH you take especial care NOT to open any strange files. Don't open files you're not expecting, and don't open them if you receive them from people you don't know. Keep your virus scanners updated and run regular virus checks. If your scanner can check your email as it comes in, make sure you have that option enabled.

Please make sure you keep yourselves protected from such instances. As I've said before, we are a club that relies on sending email attachments. If we can't trust each other to keep clean systems, then we're a bit screwed. :P
