Hi all!
1: Yes, I know you're still waiting on GKW results. They will, WILL be done finally by Saturday night. If not, you all have my permission to bitch manically.
2: There will not be any more major Krath competitions until after the GJW. This is to give the Houses time to work on their own stuff. There will, however, be regularly monthly competitions as usual, and the odd extra thrown in for those that are interested.
3: The Monthly Topics for March were released last week. The story topic is "Redemption" - submit as a .txt, .doc or .rtf file to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] and [Log in to view e-mail addresses] by 11.59pm EST 31st March. Medals for the winners only if we get 10 entries or more.
You can find more details on the Monthly Poem at http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.org/krath/focus/
4: The Big Script Competition is still running. Send your entries for this to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] by 11.59pm EST on 1st April. Your script should have a Dark Jedi theme. We're hoping to get these made into motion pictures/animations of about 5-10 minutes long by the end of the year.
On consultation with Kelvis, we've decided to lower the minimum page limit of this to 5 pages. You can work in teams on it if you want to. Don't forget - the winning three will hopefully get to see their work in animation/motion picture!
5: Dark Voice submissions should go to [Log in to view e-mail addresses] for the time being. I believe there are plans in train for the DV, but Arion will send on all submissions sent to him to whoever ends up as the permanent DV Editor. Don't forget you can get Dark Side Scrolls for your submissions.
6: Krath QUAs, AEDs and TETs, now that you're going to have time to run competitions in your Houses, DON'T forget that to be able to award medals for your competitions they MUST be approved by DGM Astatine. Getting your competitions approved also makes your House look more active - hooray!
7: As previously announced, the Krath Scholar for the month of February 2002 was KAP Bubbles of Ektrosis for her fine work throughout the GKW. Congrats, Bubbs. :)
And that's all, folks!
