Edition #003 - March 9th, 2002

Hail.
I am here again to present you the third edition of _The Week on HLK. _As always, there are some important issues below for you to read and comment.

<li>_Activity _

Strange enough, the activity levels inside the House seemed to have dropped heavily. I don't know exactly if it's a Crimster side-effect, but I'll not tolerate any lazyness until I'm QUA here. So, if you didn't get my meaning by now, starting worrying. Don't forget we still have lots of comps to participate.

<li>Comps

There are a lot of things to do:
Monthly Flying comp: In the absence of Crimsonangel, I'll receive the submissions for this month
Bob's Monthly Melee: Get flying against each other and send Bob your scores. Also, I've heard the DC is preparing something involving 2x2 melee combat on GJW. Better train now...
Diamond vs. Sapphire: There's only one week remaining on this one. Be quick or don't show your face anymore.
Prelude to Andevia: Delayed to March 14th. Be sure to try one or two sections. As Ast is implying, it can be an easy victory.

<li>On the Works

I still haven't seem any input about the MP training course, either by mail or by the message board, besides Bob, who already had given me his oppinion. This is getting really annoying for me to have to talk this again and again until you all get the idea and send me input. (To the Message Board)

In order to have access to the Message Board you'll have to finish registering your profile on the Kressh Fortress. Explaining in a simple way, I need everyone that still didn't go there to please enter here and fill your profile. I know the site seems weird at first view, but you'll soon find some logic in it. To have an overview of the Fortress, click on the Base Directory on the lower part of the screen. If you are GRD or under, you should be on some room on Level 8. If you're JH or DJK, try Level 11. SW+ are on Levels 13, 14 and 15 on the VIP rooms. If you are really hopeless and could not find your quarters after that, try the Rollmaster's Office (Level 13 - room 1301). There's a roster with the room assignment for everybody on the crew. Just click the number of the room beside your name. To those who have never entered the profile information, the temporary password is "12341234". Yep, that easy, that stupid... So remember to change it when entering your info.
Last time I checked, there was 20 or so people without registering their data... Again.
Another thing, if you feel like to idle the Fortress and find an empty spot you think you can fill with something, be it a informative text or even a good set of pictures or anything else, please send me your proposal. It's a really imense work to fill all the places on this magestic construction, so I'll need all help I can. Medals on mailbox if you do something really interesting...

<li>The Squads

Diamond: Bob seems to have a little problem with his mails as he can't send a single mail on HTML format right, but the worst thing is the total lack of submissions for the Diamond vs. Sapphire incident.
Sapphire: People on this squad seems to be a little more concerned with the Diamond vs. Sapphire comp, but only two guys submitted something until now.
Emerald: As it seems, Darkmage has successfully contacted everyone on Emerald, but still there's nothing much on submissions for comps..

<li>Special note from the SHW

"ORDERS: EMAIL your House Members and ASK them what they would like to see in a new SITH ORDER STUDIES course. You will CC me on the email asking your House for ideas. You will then proceed to collect the ideas as given to you by your house members, as well as your own ideas, and you will put them in an email. You will continue on, to address that email to me, and send it to me, NO LATER THAN FRIDAY MARCH 15th.
I hope that was clearer than the first time.. because people mustn't have understood me correctly. Consuls/Proconsuls, I would request that you see to this matter, and make sure your QUAs or AEDs (one representative from the house at least) carries out these orders."

I've only heard from Bond about it and it was a LONG TIME ago, so I want you to really send me something or we'll have a real big trouble with the DC.

<li>Special note from me

I guess you all know by now that we don't have an Aedile anymore, so I need from people JH+ to apply for the position since I really don't have a clue on someone to replace such a working drunk as Crimster. Remembering this must be a serious proposal and you must give me a real good excuse for me to appoint you. Some important things as good ideas to enhance the house and web presence (rapid response to mails and high IRC presence) are greatly appreciated. IFf I don't get satisfied with the appointments I receive be sure I'll start looking even outside the Clan.

<li>Closing Notes
