Edition #004 - March 16th, 2002

Hail.
It is the end of another week here on House Ludo Kressh and, as always, here I am with my saturdays rantings. I warn you all to be prepared to hear what I say on this issue because there are too many loose points to hold.

<li>_Activity _

The levels on activity on House Ludo Kressh, which once were really good, now seems to me as half nothing. This is not the first time I'm saying this, but I want it to be the last one. If it's not the last time I have to say we are down on activity, some real hard changes will be placed upon everyone. I have received submissions from 10 people out of 35 and 6 of them were to Diamond vs. Sapphire competition and other 2 were only suggestions for the Sith Order Studies. That's a real bad score, with less than 1/3 of the House doing something.

<li>Comps

There are still a lot of things to do:
Monthly Flying comp: In the absence of Crimsonangel, I'll receive the submissions for this month.
Bob's Monthly Melee: Get flying against each other and send Bob your scores. Also, I recommend practicing 2x2 melee combat for Sith Wars. Better train now...
Diamond vs. Sapphire: The comp has reached it's due date and all valid submissions are already at my disposal. Be sure to hear some results on a few days.
Be ready, we are getting close to start a new Sith Wars. This will be a DB-wide order comp brought by SHW Yacks staff and will be TOP PRIORITY, which means no excuse for non-participants.

<li>On the Works

I still haven't seem any input about the MP training course, either by mail or by the message board. This is getting really annoying for me to have to talk this again and again until you all get the idea and send me input. (To the Message Board)

In order to have access to the Message Board you'll have to finish registering your profile on the Kressh Fortress. Explaining in a simple way, I need everyone that still didn't go there to please enter here and fill your profile. I know the site seems weird at first view, but you'll soon find some logic in it. To have an overview of the Fortress, click on the Base Directory on the lower part of the screen. If you are GRD or under, you should be on some room on Level 8. If you're JH or DJK, try Level 11. SW+ are on Levels 13, 14 and 15 on the VIP rooms. If you are really hopeless and could not find your quarters after that, try the Rollmaster's Office (Level 13 - room 1301). There's a roster with the room assignment for everybody on the crew. Just click the number of the room beside your name. To those who have never entered the profile information, the temporary password is "12341234". Yep, that easy, that stupid... So remember to change it when entering your info.
Last time I checked, there was 20 or so people without registering their data... Again.
Another thing, if you feel like to idle the Fortress and find an empty spot you think you can fill with something, be it a informative text or even a good set of pictures or anything else, please send me your proposal. It's a really imense work to fill all the places on this magestic construction, so I'll need all help I can. Medals on mailbox if you do something really interesting...

<li>The Squads

Diamond: Adopting the DB report database as a solution for his HTML problem, Bob receives a new pilot on his squad and tries to count the participation on the Diamond vs. Sapphire comp. Best of luck to you, folks.
Sapphire:
CMDR Janos seems to be much concerned with the Diamond vs. Sapphire comp and didn't even send a report (or I've deleted it without reading, which is possible but unlikely...). Most important news are guys leaving squad to join Darkmage on Emerald and some submissions for Diamond vs. Sapphire.
Emerald: Darkmage is receiving good reinforcements for Emerald, but still there's nothing much on submissions for comps..

Special note from me

We still don't have an Aedile, but I already received some submissions for review. Only two guys until now, GRD Dolza and JH Sancho. I'll be estending this opportunity until next saturday only and then I'll decide based on the subs I have. Also, you can send your support to any of the applicants to me, if you feel he can do a good job.
