Tarentum,
First of all, I'd like to apoligize for my lack of report last week, I had a family member in the hospital and wasn't at home much. But on to better things. .I'd like to take a moment to welcome all the new transfers into the ranks of Tarentum, I've seen several new members added to each of the houses this week and look forward to seeing what you all can do. :)
And on another note of praise. . .I'm glad to see the teamwork and genuine communication that has taken place within Tarentum in the past few weeks. Our Krath composed an excellent run on, on which they were complimented on their ability to write as a team rather than glorifying their individual personas, and our Prelude to Andevia run-on while mainly written by a handful of Sith, also had a helping hand from their Obelisk brothers. All of Tarentum's Houses are to be commended for their recent work.
Discussion of the possible 'Tarentum Trials' is also proceeding nicely and I'm eager to see how this will continue to develop. So far there has been no lack of feedback on the idea. Though if you have yet to voice your opinions, don't hesitate. I'm fairly sure all of the houses have been informed and are circulating ideas everywhere; this is a chance to get your opinion in on how promotions will be achieved and sought after in the future, so please feel free to communicate any ideas you might have. :)

Weve got an email going around, an opinion poll for the topic of Jedi
Trials. Were going to be put to the test to see if this can benefit the
Brotherhood as a whole Gladius! I need and would like input from every last
one of you! Lets make this work! Lets get this ready to be put to
everybody!

--Merit Points:
Remember Gladius, medals and promotions can be earned faster, by mere
participation. Merit points are given as you participate, and more activity
brings more points, which yields medals and promotions. Awards and
promotions according to point requirements as follows:
-Dark Cross -- 50 points
-War Cross -- 150 points
-Steel Cross -- 300 points
-Grand Cross -- 450 points (because Activity is the heart of the
Brotherhood philosophy)
up to GRD -- 150 points
JH to DJK -- 300 points
above DJK -- 450 points
I have not yet assigned a minimum/maximum point limit yet, but points will
be awarded for quality, length, and extra points may be awarded for special
considerations. Points can be earned for stories, poems, run-on
participation, pic submissions for fun comps, anything.
--Dark Voice Submissions:
When you submit to the Dark Voice, you can earn merit points for those
submissions as well. Make sure you CC those submissions to your AED/QUA so
that we know to award you for your activity above and beyond what you may
receive for submitting.

Greetings all,
Another quiet week and not a great deal to report, a few good things have come to my attention this week.
COMPETITIONS
Firstly the competition Spectre of the past is postponed until April, the reason for this being there were some problems with the competition and it is postponed until this is resolved.
On the same point I would like to know what you guys would rather have for phase 1 of the competition either a single player or multiplayer missions.
The original Idea was for us to do battle with members of other houses for the competition as you are all aware in Cestus this was virtually impossible during the FTF and Andevia competitions as they always came up with some excuse not to play us.
What I personally suggest is that phase 1 be a Single Player mission and then we move onto a ladder situation within the clan but the matches with others will be pre determined.
In other words I or someone of higher authority will tell you who your opponent is and then you will arrange a time with your opponent.
Also for the ladder I was thinking about a team based event but there will be a ruling on this you must team up with a non Obelisk member who wants to participate in the JK events.
Anyway without input from you guys I cannot action this so let me know what you think.
ACTIVITY
My second point is activity, since the Feel the Force and Andevia ladders I am starting to hear less from you guys this is dissapointing as we are one of the most active Obelisk houses out there. So even if its a mail to say you are still alive let me know whats going on.
But on that note there is plenty for us to do and I will be tasking you all soon with some jobs to do for the house, you will be notified when I require you to complete your task.
I have also received some mails from my colleagues at House Tridens informing me of some excellent work on the posting on the runon for Andevia by GRD Blackhero, this sort of activity is what I would like to see more of the more our houses within the clan work together the stronger we will become. So congratulations to GRD Blackhero for helping to build bridges between our houses.
HOUSE WEBSITE
The house website is still on hold as my new ISP has still not come up with the software I need to sign up so I will have to put it onto Brinkster as a temporary measure this will probably be done this weekend, I will send another mail when this happens so you guys can go and evaluate the site and tell me what you think and what you would like added.
POSITIONS VACANT
In one of my previous reports I sent a mail out stating that there were two positions in House Cestus that were vacant, the positions being Rollmaster and Battle Team Sergeant.
I have only received one application for each position and assume that no one else would like to fill the posts. With this in mind I would like to congratulate GRD Gelton Torr for becoming the new Battle Team Sergeant of the Dark Hand. The Battle Team is now yours GRD Gelton Torr you have the following options available to you:

HOUSE TRIDENS QUAESTOR REPORT #19
Greetings House Tridens,
Id like to start by telling the entire House how pleased I am to have seen
so much open communication this week on the egroup! Im once again impressed
by the way House Tridens is really coming together to work as a team, and
selflessly offered ideas for the betterment of the Order itself! I can
assure you the Sith High Warrior will be pleased with the suggestions and
ideas that House Tridens collectively produced. ;)
SBM Domi has been appointed as the new CMDR of HammerHead! He has explained
in detail his plans for achieving new activity and success for his new
Squadron, and with his experience and talents I have no doubts he will
succeed! The first couple of weeks may be rough for HH, but once the
introductory period is over with Im looking forward to seeing it become a
well-oiled machine! I wish both CMDR Domi and his team the best of luck in
its efforts to become the best Battle Team in the entire Sith Order! Now Im
curious to see what JH Clark and Sub-Zero will do to beat HH to this honor!!

The new Standard Operating Procedures (aka Standing Orders) for House
Tridens is in development. Im used to writing these for the TIE Corps, so
its a bit harder adjusting the format over for the Dark Brotherhood. Bear
with me, and in no time well have a SOP in place for everyone to refer to
in the future regarding House Operations. ;)
Id like to express my personal thanks to GRD Blackhero of House Cestus for
his efforts to assist House Tridens on the Prelude to Andevia Team Run-On!
Hes a shining example of how our sister Houses are endeavoring to work
together for the betterment and benefit of Clan Tarentum!!
Speaking of the PTA Run-On. I want to thank everyone in House Tridens that
made this possible. I know we got a late start on putting this Run-On
together, but through your commitment and efforts, we were able to put
together a great storyline to submit for this great competition! Even if we
should not win the brass ring on this one, you can bet that your House
Summit will be bestowing honors of its own on those members of House
Tridens, and Clan Tarentum, that helped make this a success!! Everyone
should feel very proud to have demonstrated that the Sith is more than just
a bunch of mere fighter pilots!!! J
A bit late I know, but other projects and matters sidetracked me. But better
late than never eh? I want to announce that GRD Hev Randrowan was the winner
of the House Tridens Crest Competition! As soon as I locate the Comp ID
number I will request the appropriate medal. Congratulations GRD Randrowan!!

House Tridens Monthly Free Mission Competition: (Always running!! :P)
We are now well into the March portion of the Monthly Free Mission
Competition. All pilot files are to be sent to the QUA and AED. AED Torres
will be handling the actual compiling of results during the month of March,
but I still want to see the pilot files myself since I keep record of
overall activity as well. ;)
-Fly one or more of FREE-TIE #194 (Quest for the Sith Orb), FREE-XvT 40
(Death of a Jedi) and/or FREE-XWA 38 (Blazing Fury!). All are available for
download at http://www.tiecorps.org/battles/battletypes.asp.
The March segment begins (March 1st). The competition will run for the
entire month until March 31st. The results will probably go out the first
weekend in April. Also, this competition will use laserless scoring in TIE
Fighter, so dont expect that the score you see in the game will be your
final score. Finally, only ONE submission for each platform will be
accepted, so be sure that the pilot file you submit to the House Summit is
your best performance, because duplicate entries will NOT be accepted.
The best pilot in each category wins a Dark Cross. This also counts towards
your monthly activity count; remember, whoever's flown the most missions
and/or MP matches at the end of the month gets a WR.

Well this week had its events.
until April. So until then, concentrate on other comps.
complaining as usual. :P Anyway, this comp was completed this week and even
though the number of House members participating was low, the quality of the
posting was very good. One particular highlight was when GRD Blackhero of
Cestus House put in a few valuable postings. Cestus House is actually Clan
Tarentum's Obelisk House and Blackhero's participation was a welcomed
surprise.

In recognisation for his dedication to the House and Clan and providing an
example of how far a Dark Jedi can go activity-wise, GRD John Clark was
promoted to the rank of Jedi Hunter (JH).
Standing next John was GRD Rekio Corsair who has been a strong member of the House and was rewarded a War Cross (WR) for his level of activity and
dedication.
For reasons beyond the ability of even us, someone nominated QUA Wil Striker
for a award. J/K. Few could question Wil's dedication to the House nor his
determination to see it raise to greatness. Because of this and many other
factors, he was awarded a Dark Cross (DC).
SBM Domi was appointed CMDR of HammerHead BattleTeam with a loud party being held afterwards. Ahh someone tell Wil that I will return his formal robes
to him :P
We also saw two new assignments to HammerHead. PRT Llewellyn and PRT Jason Hunter recently arrived for duty.
Recruitment. This months focus is on recruiting. I warn that recruiting from other Houses and Clans is forbidden. Lets try and recruitment for Clan
Tarentum as much as for House Tridens!
