1) The AWOL check ended last week and I yelled at the people who hadn't sent in anything. Unfortunately, the MAA made a mistake and forgot to count some results even though he checked them twice. As a result, I basically threatened to fire people for not being able to run an AWOL check when in fact, not only had they done it, but they had done it on time. I'm deeply sorry for this and I'll try to make sure that nothing like this can happen again. The MAA will write his own apology as well.
2) The chain of command. It is very important. Don't ignore it! If you have a problem with a superior, report it to the one above. If it doesn't work, go to the one above that. And so on. NEVER, EVER skip steps in the chain. If you do, it means that you have no respect for the rules and that you're probably not fit to hold a command position in the DB. Think about that.
3) Be nice on IRC! People have been brought up on charges left and right recently. Not good! So behave!
