Overall I am pleased with the progress on the Clans individual Houses in the month May. Membership has risen, activity has gone up and our IRC channel has been filled quite nicely this month. I am especially pleased with the House Summits, who have lead by example. Good work chaps! Now on to the weeks events.

DJK Sontrax resigned as AED of Galeres. The new AED will be JH RedNeck. The Clan summit wishes to speak out it gratitude to DJK Sontrax on a job well done. He has helped Galeres out in a time of need. A suitable reward will be given next week.
The Clan Competition is now a 2 week old and Khobs and I have received a lot of submissions. Good job everyone who has participated so far and get active those who havent done anything yet. The competition dead line is the 23 of June. Extra events are at http://www25.brinkster.com/darkforge/arcona . I want to see more from HOO though. I know you guys just finished the Sith wars but I expect something more form you.
Clan numbers are up! We are now at 58, that 3 up from last week! Please welcome: OBM Duo Chronos Sterling (Obelsik), ex-Consul and long time member of Arcona! Glad to have you back Sterling! Say also welcome to DJK Mini Minkus (Sith), NOV Dagger (Obelisk) and NOV Domri Yapor (Obelisk). We say goodbye to PRT Blastfire (Sith).
The Dark Brotherhood is gaining members at a rate of 50 a week! We need to get more those fresh ones to our Clan. So, recruit and be rewarded!
I saw we had only one Arconian in the top 5 of the monthly topic. It was our own PCON Khobai. I expect next month at least 2 Arconians in the top 5, NOT INLCUDING OUR BELOVED, STILL ABDUCTED, PCON KHOBAI!!!

PCON report

Dark Tidings,

I will be on semi-leave until Tuesday, I need to take care of a few things. The clan competition won't be terribly interrupted I hope.

Starting in three weeks (once the clan competition ends) I'd like to start up a new project. A clanbook for Arcona, similar to the clanbooks released for Vampire: the Masquerade for those of you familiar with the roleplaying game.

Essentially, I want to compile all our clan and house histories together, add a few graphics, some quotations, and even a few narrative stories (poems, biographies of important leaders, possessions, rituals, etc... would also be included).

I'm aiming for an end result of about 50 pages of material.

This of course, will be a massive undertaking, but it will give members of Arcona the oppurtunity to publish thier clan-related works for the entire Dark Brotherhood to see. Additionally, it lets us establish our own seperate indentity as a clan; which should ultimately make it cooler for people to be in Arcona instead of another clan.

If you guys are interested in putting something like this together, let me know. I know I'd be interested in doing it, but ultimately the decision resides with the vast majority...

House News

1) The results of the Fourth Event in Sith Wars have been announced, they are as follows

Greetings Everybody,

Just sending out the Event IV results, and will send out the final results, along with the rewards for each person after this. Yay me.  It was well fought, but thanks to sheer numbers in participation, House Archanis managed to dominate the Single Player Event, doubling the nearest Houses score.  



I am much more pleased with these results than I was when I left on leave.  Why? Because you guys made me work really really long hours on this... ie, I had a Grand Total of 72 Submissions.  That's a much better amount, while I know we could do better, it's a nice start.

After a long fought three way battle, House Archanis has secured, and defended it's holding of the title, The First House of the Sith.  Caliburnus has risen to the Second House of the Sith, and possibly, in the greatest leap seen in Brotherhood History, House Ronin of Clan Alvaak has arrived, and secured for itself, the title Third House of the Sith, the first such title ever to be bestowed upon Clan Alvaak, after the great Clanning.  Well done everyone!

In the Battleteam race... a strong showing (and I mean strong) has stolen the rights to a new starfighter from House Caliburnus' Nightstalker Squadron, and landed those rights in the laps of Hyperion Flight of House Archanis, one of the oldest Squadrons in the Brotherhood.  Archanis/Hyperion, I'll be mailing you about details later, as will I be with Nightstalker and Harbinger (the third place Squad) about those "future considerations" I mentioned on the Sith Wars Website.

Now, some of you might object to this scoring for Event IV.  I know for a fact I put some N/As in there for people who do have Squads but did not list them.  You may see this as unfair, I do not.  If you are unable to follow the simple instructions of "Put your Battleteam name in your EMAIL" then I am not going to grant you any leniency.  If this cost your Squadron points that could have been used to win the competition, hopefully you learned your lesson.

As you can see we managed to finish 5th, not a bad place considering our numbers but could have been better.
